- This Mod Makes Minecraft 10x Scarier.. (The Silence) This was absolutely crazy.
ItsFilsFR here and in this non minecraft man from the fog video, we are playing minecraft with this new 1.19.4 horror mod. This is the new minecraft the silence mod which has been in development for a while. The beta just released and honestly already surpassed a lot of other horror mods I've used. I'll leave my full thoughts in the comments but so far for a non minecraft dweller horror mod this is really good. If you want a good 1.19.4 minecraft horror mod to play with friends then this is a great suggestion.

Thoughts on the mod so far:
Honestly this mod was genuinely really fun to play and I can't want to see more updates to it. I do have some complaints so far though. That last mob im ngl we just spawned in😅as we thought we saw what the mod had to offer and realized there was still a ton of content to explore. I feel as if some sort of item or compass or something would make this feel a lot more grand as it'd cause exploration for maps or to come across these other mobs. The main entity was a cool threat but still feels very slightly reminiscent of dwellers as it does just end up chasing and 1 shotting you in the end.
i am still very excited to see future updates to this mod and I hope you guys enjoyed the video
Thanks for making the video. I have seen the many errors that there are with this mod that I am now fixing. The functions they have are limited for development reasons. This is just the Beta for players to give their opinion and recommend things to add or remove, and the most important thing is to report bugs. Thanks you

When will people learn that screen jumpscare is not scary, it just louds and annoyings
@@nguyenthetan1332 don´t worry. The mechanics are still new. That is why it is in Beta phase. I want each user to give their opinion to modify it and fix things that may bother :3
@@EBALIA People scare things that they don't know, jumpscare and kill player too often dont make them fear but getting bored. Think about old creepy pasta stuff like bigfoot, Slenderman, herobrine...
I kind of get what the mods going for but it's missing the mark a bit
but it's a beta so we'll see
personally not a fan of horror mods that rely on "hyper realistic" designs and jumpscares

ngl, i tried the mod and it aint that scary, the monster has a constant presence and it eventually just becomes more annoying than scary. it has no build up like other horror mods like cave dweller, man from the fog or the one who watches
its a beta though, so i'm giving it time :P

To be fair, the developers are making it better, its still in beta, but yeah i agree
There is much potential in this mod. It isn't just a copypasted cave dweller, it gives you that eerie feeling that something bad is going to happen. I like it
TL:DR - I hope this is improved upon, but this first impression leaves alot to be desired
i mean no disrespect, but this mod feels like it was quickly put together and then just kinda pushed out
main enemy moves so fast the pathfinding kinda freaks out, and deals far too much damage to be fair (imo, nothing should be able to one-shot or otherwise easily kill players aside from explosions, falling from a large height, or just getting trapped/swarmed)
plus the fact the "warning" for the entities (or maybe just the main one aka the silence itself) spawning is just a png jumpscare
kinda wish they polished it up a bit more before showing it off, maybe tested and tweaked with a focus group, because this isnt a good first impression
again, i mean no disrespect, just feel as though this mod could have been better
it definitely was very hastily made probably because of the how much views it got
Don't worry. I have limited the functions due to development and avoid revealing those that are still on the way. The Beta has only been made to test the entities, people's opinions about the slight jumpscares, sounds, damage or whatever of the mod. Thanks for your opinion :D

It looks fine. Im aware that the mod is in beta, but still. It has to change a lot to be what its hyped up to be. So far it just feels like a generic cave dweller ripoff that plays goofy ahh sounds and has the stupidest looking jumpscares ever.

I get that fair point. For us though we were genuinely hyped to see the new mobs so we were just scouting around looking for it. And honestly you really think the video would be as entertaining if we were just playing as if it was a regular survival video? Plus most of the time we do spend gathering resources are cut out of the video cause again who would want to sit through that
