Another great review. I owe a Final A8000 and up to date I have not found its equal in "hear through clarity". How would it compare to the Fir? Thanks, Bert

My Sony IER Z1R has 12mm dynamic driver too but with 6mm treble dynamic driver and ba mids driver looks like Electron 12 would be a nice side IEM when i want another tuning

Nice but we have to see the graph to see the whole picture..

While they don't always tell the whole store, we're looking to add graphs to our videos soon so we can provide a stronger objective piece of the sound impressions.

Great review. I’d love to see a review of the thieaudio monarch mk3. Also how you think it compares to the u12t, possibly the MEST MKII.

I think it should have been named Electron 1, that would have been a more interesting name

Swappable faceplates seem awesome, also no glue to worry about (looking at you 64 Audio)

i do find flat monitor to be boring now, although theyre technically correct and accurate, even he1 or multiverse arent

Best basshead iems (from low to high prices) - 7hz legato (mine had a huge channel imbalance issue with right one very bad qc on the plug but Linsoul/amazon are sending me a new right side bud so beware of that) / audiosense t800 / isn neo 5 / penon turbo (almost any isn or penon) / maestro se / sony ier-z1r /

IER-Z1R best bass in business though you have to have massive ears to hold the thick shells and weight. Though if you can get a great fit, it will probably be one of the best IEM for you.
Another awesome one is the Grand Maestro by Fat Frequency as it has interchangeable filters so you can get a massive bass shelf or use a different filter and get a more “neutral” sound.
Keep in Mind that the Z1R is around $1700 brand new and the Grand Maestro is around $3000 brand new from MusicTeck in the US. In other countries you may find cheaper but at least in the US these are the new options unless you of course find used.

tried z1r, xe6, and grand maestro, imo grand maestro first, z1r second, and xe6 last. grand maestro has a vocal switch on the back side though that hurts my ear after around 20 min of listening so you might want to look into that

I hope it’s tuned better than their previous IEMs. They’ve definitely started getting better in that business but I think they need to implement more mid range and upper mid range energy instead of bloating with bass. They're definitely going for a more warm bass sound or v shaped sound considering they have that kinetic bass technology but still. Looking forward to seeing them create new IEMs.
