I’d say walking has done a lot to my overall health and physique, it doesn’t burn the most calories but that’s not the point. The point is that it’s sustainable, low impact, low recovery demand and it does a lot for your general cardiovascular system :) Been lifting for 13 years by now and I can confidently say walking is my favorite😊 Find something you can sustain.
Same here. I lost 10kg from watching my calories + walking. And whenever I feel like it, I hop on the treadmill and max out the incline, turning the walk into a hike
@@Noone-nv2mf As long as your regular walking (or any physical activity that you choose to do for that matter) burns more calories than you consume then you will burn fat. I only do regular walking when I have a lot of time to spare. If I’m short on time, I jog or max out the incline on the treadmill while on walking speed so it’s like I’m hiking on the treadmill. Those burn double the calories than regular walking.
@@jackie7486 I see your reply to the poster is a year old. Hopefully you will see my comment and reply:) What incline and speed is enough to lose fat/weight? I am 50 years old(female), at 139 pounds as of now, want to lose 12 pounds, lose weight mostly in my hips, love hnadles, stomach, and I do understand that we can’t spot reduce. I am in a calorie deficit through diet, walk 4-5 miles outdoors whenever the weather allows, but I would like to know if incline walking will help as much as outdoor walking. The terrain is pretty flat.
Super underrated advice
This is just what I needed!

You should run like 7 miles and do 300 crunches and 300 push-ups intermittently as you run. That’ll do you proper. 💪🏼💪🏼😂😂
