  • “Cycling Seoul to Busan: Our 8-Day Adventure”
In early November 2023, my wife and I embarked on a cycling journey that would take us from the bustling streets of Seoul to the picturesque coastal city of Busan. Our first day was filled with excitement, but also a wrong turn that led us 10 kilometers off course. Thankfully, a friendly local guided us back on track, reminding us that sometimes the detours make the best memories. We also encountered a puncture which set us back 30 minutes. Despite riding less than planned, it was still a great day and an incredible first-day experience.
The cycling route utilizes the Four Rivers Bike Trail, which is traffic-free. The trail follows the country’s four major rivers: Hangang, Nakdonggang, Geumgang, and Yeonsangun, connecting South Korea from north to south

Hey guys, love your vlog! Just wondering if you guys brought your own bikes or rented?

Thanks for your comments. First we thought about renting but my wife wasn’t able to find her size. So we end up bringing our own. Worked out well as the bike fits us perfectly and there were no pressure to return them back on time. Hope that helps.

@@westernsydneycyclists3016 Thanks for this! How did you guys transport the bike back from Busan to Seoul? Could you bring it onto the trains?

@@Maghonyheight We explore the trains and ask around but they don’t allow us to take the bikes on the train so we caught the bus instead. It was around 4hrs back to Seoul and we were able to store the bikes safely where the luggage goes. Just a note get there early so you are the first ones to load up.

Hello, did you bring your own bike boxes?

No we invested in a Scicon Bike bag. Found it easier for transporting as it has its own wheels.

You could leave them in the hotel in Seoul?

@@sofialius7212 Yes we could. We stayed at Hotel Manu Seoul. Best to ask the questions before booking just in case their policy has changed. Good luck.
