- Following a grand slam by the Arizona Diamondbacks, the sparse crowd at Busch Stadium erupted in boos towards the hometown Cardinals on Tuesday April 23rd.
The Cardinals would lose the game 14-1 - บันเทิง
Wow... hard to believe Busch Stadium is this empty for a game...
The boos have been going on since the middle of the 2022 and haven't stopped since. Totally jusitified.
Us Cubs, Pirates, Reds, and Brewers fans are waiting for a part 2 of this! Anyone got any idea when it's dropping?
Pirates fans should be booing every home game.
@@robertmusgrave9236 As a Pirates fan, I just want us to be respectable lol. We can't hit for shit right now. If Haines doesn't get fired after this season I don't know what this team is gonna do.
But it was made very clear to me by "superior" Cards fans that they're the best fans in the game.
@@draneym2003 Cardinals fans are truly pissed at John Mozeliak and BD2&3. They aren't stupid. They know it's not the players. It's the fact that the Cardinals somewhere along the way lost the organic ability to evaluate and train talent. They have been beaten on nearly every trade or conveyance of a player in the past 8 years. Nobody saw it coming when (1.) they played 19 games each every year against the Reds, against the Cubs, and against the Pirates (2.) the defense could shift. They were hanging out in the worst division in baseball for two decades playing 35% of their season against three of the (then) shittiest teams in baseball. That is... until 2023. I knew something was wrong with them when they kept squeaking into the playoffs and getting mopped in a couple of games in the first series since about 2016.
Yea. They were booing because it was 12-1. Then he hit that home run. I’ve lived in St. Louis all my life. Honestly I wouldn’t blame them. Some of it could have been directed at Arizona? Not sure. When it’s 12-1 with a big home run then yes people going to be pissed.
St Louis is the sh!ttiest city ive ever visited. How do you live there?
They fired a manager who got them to the playoffs and hired a guy who can't manage to get above five hundred. The general manager isn't any better
The self-proclaimed "best fans in baseball" surely bailed on their team very quick.
When you're down 12-1, it's usually best to leave. I don't blame the fans.
It’s 12-1 at 8:00 on a Tuesday night. No fan base is gonna stay and watch that
@@itzaidans9040 the "best fans in baseball" would, so obviously Cards fans don't fit that title.
@@ATalkingBadger when your owners cant remember that pitching is important this happens.
They appreciate good ball playing . Hustle, fight, etc. They are knowledgeable. This game was terrible. 12 to 1 ? They have not been playing up to their potential. They may have been booing , but they were there . ( Can’t be said for a lot of other fan bases. So give it a rest Nancy.
Couldn't happen to a better team or fan base...Let's Go Crew!!!!
Goddamn right! Screw the Cardinals!
I am a Cub fan, lol, so while I agree St.Louis fans are overrated I can’t agree with your choice of teams.
Ok ✅
Fans ready for the 600 Million Dollar 💵 Renovation of the Stadium 🏟️ with Taxpayer Dollars 😂
It's still a pretty cool stadium, top 5 easily in my opinion! The hell they need a whopping $600 million in reno money for exactly? Such BS here !!
We’re not used to losing like that.
this is misleading, the crowd mistook a beach ball for a LGBT pride flag. Could happen to anyone
Surprised they didn't go all 2A over it.
Not anyone with sense.
"greatest fans in baseball" 🤔🤔🤔
Still are, just hate seeing our team suck since our front office clearly doesn’t care
Every city thinks they're the greatest fans 😂 Here's to ALL baseball fans everywhere!
@@mj21576St. Louis is the only one who was told they were the best
@@mj21576 Albert Pujols called STL’s the best fans in baseball while he was playing for the Angels. Many analysts and announcers have said it as well.
The fact that fans booing at Busch made the literal news is a testament to their fandom.
Bill DeWitt can't be happy with this. I wonder if Marmol will survive the season.
It really doesn't help that players the Cards traded away are thriving on their current teams.
The season? I can't take another month of this crap.
I will take him over Bob Nutting.
God let's hope not
Never heard one boo
Looks to be about 25% capacity. And we know why.
Some real fair weather fans in St. Louis. True fans support their team during good and bad times.
Manager gotta go. They need to get Joe Girardi!
wow those 5 people are sure angry
Those 300 people sound very angry.
It was a Tuesday night at 8:00 and they were losing 12-1. Obviously there’s gonna be no one there
Wow Cardinals fans are booing, this is the lowest this country has sunk
Don't you mean the lowest this city has sunk. What does the rest of the country have to do with this. There are 29 other teams that don't care that the Cards fans are booing.
@donnywilliamson5807 I'm saying the decay of America has reached all the way to the classy and civil fans of the Cardinals.
@mh-do3pe The team is awful, dating back to last year, and management has done little to nothing, and it shows! The fans have had enough, and ownership is being called on it.
@@mr.intensity2685 yes, we've had enough. Mozeliak told us to "be patient" and our owner had the audacity to ask for our money to renovate Busch stadium.
Appears seat are still available
I never thought I'd see Cards fans boo their own team. These are the same clowns that get over-excited on a pop-up to short and boo pick-off attempts.
Boooooooo! Hey, did y'all git them tickets fer Saturday?
What was this about?
down 13 runs lol
600 million dollars 💸 wanted to redo the stadium 🏟️ with taxpayers money
Both.
Pirates fans should be the next to do this because it’s long overdue for them to start showing their displeasure.
And this is venomous booing to be sure. But you have to understand what the fans have been given to try and root for the last 2 years. What was once the envy of the National league has been reduced in quick time to a poorly managed ball club. The Cardinal way has been lost and only a new management with baseball intelligence can restore it.
True but i remember parts of the Cardinal draught from 1945 to 1964 they had nothing going for them. They even backed into the pennant in 1964 when the Phillies collapsed in late September and October and handed the NL lead to St. Louis on the last day of the season. With the additions of Gibson, Flood, Brock McCarver and Javier in the late 50's and 60's to supplement Musial who retired in 63 and Kenny Boyer, the Cards had an All Star flame thrower, an All- star infield, and one of the fastest and best base runners and stealers in Brock
At least the fans that go watch the game unlike Cubs fans
Look at all the people
People still watching professional sports?
As a Texas Rangers fan, this stadium still traumatizes me.
😂🤣😂🍸
Don't feel bad man. They want to blame Cruz for not catching that 9th inning catch. He was already playing deep, but that was a missile and the only way he could've had a shot at catching that was if he was playing on the warning track which no one ever does.
Seattle has been boo-ing the Mariners since 1977
Stop going to Cardinals games if you want to send a message to ownership and front office. Don't buy a damn cent. WAKE UP!
They bailed on the rams. So rams bailed on them
Pretty certain it hurt Cardinal fans to do that because that’s not what Cardinals fans do but maybe it’s time management makes some changes, spends some money and I don’t know that I’m necessarily talking about Oli 🤷♂️
If front office cares at all about the fans, fire Oli. Holy shit it’s too obvious
Cardinal fans booing their "beloved team" WHOA! Never saw that coming!. Be careful St. Louis, the Cardinal's many years of success has spoiled you. Don''t think for one minute that the Cardinals could pull a Bill Bidwell or Stan Kronke on you if that keeps up. The city has lost every other professional sports teams to movement or dissolution except the Blues, and they almost left as well.
Yeah the Blues almost left for Saskatoon
@@leifopstad2972 Yep snd St Louis would havre missed a team that made the playoffs 26 seasons in a row and finally has a Stanley Cup.
Awe......The Fruits of Moe's labor! 😑👈
Let their asses have it. It's disgusting and disgraceful from what the fans are used to.
It's April.
Who ever that was at 0:11 sure didn't give two shits.
A chorus of boos, really? At best it was a smattering of boos. Have you ever been to game in New York or Philadelphia? Philly fans booed Santa Claus. Yankee fans boo Aaron Judge.
not everyone can be as classy as Mets fans
At least they got rid of that Mike Shildt and replaced him with the genius manager they have today. Smartest move ever - if your goal is to finish in last place.
Cardinals should go after Joey Bart and Michael busch and Marcus Strowman
THAT WASN'T BOOING. Come to a Yankees or Red Sox game.
Empty seats all over the league....baseball is going to hell
Way to go Mo...
OMG fans booing 😮
Gonna be a long season for St. Louis.
I swear as a cubs fan I see the cardinals as the laughing stock of the NL since last year
bEsT fAnS iN bAsEbAlL lolol
St. Louis had had a ton of support through the years primarily because they have traditionally been winners most of the time (or never been down long). Cardinals fans aren't some sort of "superfan"....they lose interest just like a Marlins or DBacks or Mariners fan if their team isn't competitive. It's not any more of a "baseball town" than any other city if their team isn't any good.
Cardinals should've went for ozuna , ozzie, Orlando, Dylan Cease , Michael busch and JD martinez instead of keeping Nolan Arenado who's already a waste of time and money
Anyone reading this in the future, St. Louis went to 10-14, 5 games out of first place. They would win the next three games before losing one in 11 innings.
And the worst thing about that - the Cubs were in first place. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
@@douglasclouatre165 I'm a Sox fan so you're welcome.
🧐🤬
I always believed Cardinal fans were the best in baseball. They are showing themselves to be like NY Yankees fans. Phoney front runners and spoiled.
😂
"Best fans in Baseball"
The 127 fans there were mad
Season tix cheap on the resale when the team tanking get them cheap for individual games. Sit behind home plate, even. Get Waiter Sevice eat fancy Club Sandwich with HAM an Bacon. P!us Turkey. Cranberry relish. Good for a hot day.
Professional sports has become so overhyped they're now overrated. I stopped watching. Too much of everything. A ballpark used to be enjoyable, now I can barely tolerate a full game with all the noise and distractions.
The reds are already planning to trade or release Frankie montaz cardinals should sign
Nobody boos their own team. They were booing the D-Back because he hit a grand slam
Of course people boo their own team. What kinda logic is that?
Don't deny it, @blazingbattlehawk9626. You know very well they were booing their own team.
@@postl3 not if they're a fan
@@Chenglor91 why would they? How does that make any sense?
You've never been to a game in Philadelphia apparently!
Hahaha!!!
GO CUBS!!!!!
Why the boos when cardinals should've dfad Nolan arenado dude cannot hit anymore he keeps missing the easiest throws and when he gets to an easy play he botches the play and ruins the inning
Lol
Have you seen St Louis Lately? What a complete sh!thole that city is WOW!!
St Louis is a beautiful city and a great place to live. It gets a bad rap because crime is only in one area but everyone thinks that it is everywhere.
As a Cubs fan I love this!! More please!!
You're so used to it.
As a lowly Pirates fan, I love this too lol!
Yeah Cubs fans can’t boo and cry at the same time. Cubs play a lot of day games because there fans are unemployed alcoholics or maybe because they are afraid to go to Wrigley at night in Chicago.
The greatest fair weather fans in baseball
Reported attendance of 32,875 for this game. But no, don’t look at the video, they really did fit over 32k in there that night!
Kansas City Royals fans are the best fans in baseball because even when they lose for all these years, the fans still come. Cardinals fans aren’t used to constantly losing.
So much for baseball heaven
Where is your team pride fellow Cardinals fans??-I hate fair weather friends-support our team ALWAYS no matter what!!!-god bless my Cardinals.
😂
