This is my favourite Rhythm game yet! (even though it's just a doujin). I rarely play any but one with music from my favourite game series is the perfect rhythm game for me! ^ワ^ And it sure was more fun than I expected it to be!
Unfortunately because of TH-cam's stupid decision to remove annotations, no one will get to see the joke at the very end where when Meiling gets stabbed to death, a box pops up saying "FCKIN AWESOME END!!!" (or something like that) that you're supposed to read to the beat. I really liked it, and now it's gone! Thanks TH-cam!

One thing they got wrong was the Perfect Loss Moment. It's supposed to be startling and kind of scary tbh but here it's so tiny and the noise is so TINY you barely notice it.
There is a big drawback in this game, comparing it to Rhythm Heaven Feaver. In RHF, music in most minigames HELPED you a lot, you actually could press buttons with closed eyes there, just listening to music and sounds (if you are good enough). In TRC, music never helps (even distracts if you try to listen to it) - you only keep the rhythm with your own eyes and brain. Since most of music are arranged touhou melodies, that were not suited for rhythm in the first place. I think that rhythm must be around sounds and music, not around eyes. In this game, the is no rhythm in music and sounds.
+Regent2203 I will agree, the game is much more harder than Rhythm Heaven, but I actually found the music to be helpful in my part. The interesting thing about this game soundtrack wise is that the arrangements aren't just ordinary arrangements: they're usually done with a jazzy, swing type rhythm. With an exception to that Sakuya time stop bullshit with the FOEs, the music didn't feel out of place to me, but i guess that's just me because i was part of a jazz band.

Poses is clapping trio freezing frogs is that monkey and penguin game marching is marcher and dodging lasers is lockstep, and killing the puff balls is launch party. Ithink
The Quartz Minecart It really wouldn't be a surprise if most of the mini-games were based on some of the ones in Rhythm Heaven, due to the fact that Rhythm Heaven is pretty popular in Japan and is what most people think of when they hear the word "Rhythm Game". It's still entirely possible that it's just all just a coincidence but that's unlikely.
