Khamrah gets sweeter and stronger, less boozy, over time. I used to apply it an hour before going out so I didn't smell like cognac, but after a year on the shelf, it's not an issue.
It's literally a roll of the dice with middle eastern scents...you just DON'T know by reviews...I've learned the hard way. Fortunately they are inexpensive (most) & you can always use for an air freshener etc. Lovely video ladies! ♥️
Considering that I've used designer fragrances for air freshener when they don't smell as good at home as I thought they did at a fragrance counter, I don't mind a few misses with Middle Eastern brands.
I think the "problem" with middle eastern fragrances is a lot of people either don't realize that they should let the fragrance macerate, or they're just not patient enough to let it sit and macerate for a few weeks and just assume that they don't like it from the first sprays. 🤷♀️
@Heather-nq4rv I give a fragrance 3 full wears before deciding. Unless it smells like motor oil, in which case, I put it away for several months to do it's thing.
Yes!!! I agree with everything you describe. Lots of ppl say it smells like pineapple, I don’t smell that at all. Creamy coconut vanilla is a great description
The Al Rehab choco musk oil is amazing. It reminds me of Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 71, but better. I'm not sure about the perfume spray though. I've never tried that one. I'm really liking Arabian fragrances. I really love the beautiful bottles that so many have. I also love the prices in comparison to higher end brands. Plus I usually find very few high end perfumes to live up to their hype. 🤷♀️ For instance, i don't like any of the Killian perfumes I've tried, including the very viral ones. 🤷♀️
I think I do too, I need to wear a couple more times but I like that it isn’t as sweet as Angels Share whilst still keeping the overall warm, spicy apple pie vibe
@@hayley.clough I was so so surprised when I saw your comment that you liked khamra even more AS because I know you it’s one of your favourite, at that time I was not getting AS yet, only have khamra and I can’t stop wearing it, I got AS few days ago and I feel the same as you exactly, I prefer khamra over AS, Both are great but I feel that AS is the night out version of KHAMRA, also I think because I have two young kids so it’s so rarely if we got to go out at night, so in my case I will reach for khamra a lot more than AS, but I still love AS and appreciate how chic, classy and sexy it’s ❤
I adore this video - the friendship and “khamrahderie” (bad joke?) - I own Khamrah and love it, too! I literally purchased Nebras as a “blind buy” just five minutes prior to watching your video. Your commentary did help validate my decision.
Tori is so lovely and feature her more please I think it would be fun to see what she thinks of different scents and profiles too :) Khamrah sounds like one I might check out.
“Take me somewhere” Perfect quote for what fragrances do for us 🩷🫶🏼 times, places, people, feelings.. people think I’m silly for loving fragrances so much but it’s so much deeper than just smelling a certain way. My only regret is choosing kayali silk santal the wedding for my wedding and it’s so hard to get.. I savor the few drops left for my wedding nostalgia 😂☠️
Ohhh a lot of these Middle Eastern fragrances need to macerate! Khamrah is one that needed about 6-8 weeks. It is NOT an Angel's Share dupe, but same family of scents... and it is LOVELY! 😍Not just "for the money" - it's actually good! 🥰
I thought it was so great the first time I smelled it I was new to perfume world, but after smelling angel share, I really didn’t even like it anymore angel share is one of my faves
@@kristinmary4025 I was never a big fan of Angel's Share... but it started growing on me some. Still about 200 fragrances on my list before I would buy it. 🤷♀️ I actually prefer Khamrah
I recently discovered dua brand a dupe house. I bought 5 and hated 2 but after letting them sit for a month Or two they became my favorite. I will have to to bring Khamrah back out of the back of my closet and see what I think. It’s been in there since beginning of summer. Love perfume talk ☺️
@@kristinmary4025oh the dua parfums you have to let them maccarate a couple weeks or even months but they are really good and not as expensive with their sales 😍
I needed this 😊 I trust your judgement so excited to hear your thoughts. I’m always nervous buying these types of perfumes. And I’m an oud/Arab perfum lover… I’ve bought so much in the past that haven’t worked with my skin chemistry. I’m going to try and get my nose on some of these. And with the price point you just can’t go wrong. Thank you ❤
You are so welcome! Exactly, with Khamrah as an example, it’s so close to Angels Share but a unique touch. Plus the price is amazing in comparison. Yara is great for everyday and very affordable. I find Middle Eastern frags tend to last longer than most Zara fragrances. I love Zara too btw
Thank you and please do again you and Tori . I love Khamra , it’s really nice but not last more than 4 hrs on me . I want to try Yara , it seems like ppl love it a lot .
I don't think Choco Musk is anything to write home about. But I mean it reminds me of a powdery chocolate body spray. I paid $5 for my bottle so I'll use it to layer.
I gave it to some teenagers and thought of it as juvenile but realized later that it's nice to layer with fruity and floral fragrances for added depth. I have a middle-aged fragrance buddy who went wild for it, so no telling who will like it. When I gifted Berries Weekend Pink Edition to my sisters, I included bottles of Choco Musk to layer specifically with that fragrance.
Thank you for promoting our middle eastern perfumes, although recently we are getting lot of attention for clones but we do have long history in the fragrances, not everything comes out of middle east is a clone.I hope we don't become China. 😂
@Hayley, was it you who recommended Xerjoff's 'Layla'? I got a sample and it's ok alone but layered over Perris Monte Carlo's 'Vanille de Tahiti' is awesome! x
To me Yara is so mediocre 😬 the yellow & white ones are better. Yellow --> Mango & White --> Peach. The peach one is my fave but I still only use these to layer with more fruity fragrances.
I am a huge fan of Khamra it wasn’t a love from the first sniff I thought it was muscline on me but after the second wear I really really fell in love with it and I can’t stop to wear it, Nebras is the complete opposite it’s exactly like the feminine shaving cream or air freshener or maybe cheap body spray, this is not a perfume for me I can’t even call this a perfume I just wear it after the shower at night, I need to try velvet gold and I am so agreed with you the bottle is so awful 😂
Kamrah reminds me of the Fendi signature perfume from the eighties, my mother used it and it was heavy, but on my ginger mom with ivory skin it was very nice and less overwhelming. I bought Kamrah bc it sounded interesting, but I cannot get myself to wear it, it’s simply too much. Yara tous is very disappointing for me, so many positive reviews, but I think the pink is a very simple, not very complex or elaborate scent, profile flattens within short time, actually a simple powder scent, nothing special. The orange Yara is off putting like a soap or shower gel, overpowering and somehow cheap, not a fan…
I like her opinion nonetheless. She was helpful to the best of her ability. Not everyone has a highly trained nose. Hayley offered a trained perspective, while Tori offered a simplified, less experienced opinion. They both have their use for different people in different places on their fragrance journey.
The Al-Rehab Chocolate musk roll on oil is strong. Very yummy chocolate vanilla.
Khamrah gets sweeter and stronger, less boozy, over time. I used to apply it an hour before going out so I didn't smell like cognac, but after a year on the shelf, it's not an issue.
1 whole year?🙄🙄
@Tata-bd9nx I didn't wear it during spring and summer, so I noticed the difference a year after buying it. No need to be rude with eye rolls.
It's much less boozier than Angels Share and much sweeter as well. I love it!! 😍
Many Lattafa frags smell better 2-3 mins after ... especially Khamrah and Nebras! ❤
It's literally a roll of the dice with middle eastern scents...you just DON'T know by reviews...I've learned the hard way. Fortunately they are inexpensive (most) & you can always use for an air freshener etc. Lovely video ladies! ♥️
My thoughts exactly. If I didn’t like anything I will just gift to someone else or use around the house. I feel it was a pretty successful haul
Considering that I've used designer fragrances for air freshener when they don't smell as good at home as I thought they did at a fragrance counter, I don't mind a few misses with Middle Eastern brands.
It's the same with designer ones too so you just hope for the best

What do you think of it?
Ya how's both
Hey I received mine today, love love love it😁😁😁
Khamrah is a dupe for Dates Delight by The House Of Oud. The only relation it has to Angel's Share is the bottle.
Loved this. Fun and helpful!
The Nebras bottle is 100% better than the Billie Eilish one!
Agreed!
You've helped me enormously as I've been on the fence about Middle Eastern perfumes for ages.
Your friend's lucozade comment was so funny😂
Ahhh you are welcome. I now want to try some more undiscovered or underrated Middle Eastern perfumes next

these cheap Arabic perfumes smell exactly worth their price, I sincerely don’t understand what beautiful things people find there👎🏻
That is a bit of a catch all statement. I believe Khamrah and Nebras smell expensive personally. Each to their own of course.
