The "r" the teacher pronounces is not correct. r (=日=ㄖ) is a fricative. There is no friction in her r (=日=ㄖ), which means her tongue doesn't touch the upper palate at all to allow the air to squeeze through and friction the closed parts. What she prounces is only a vowel.😢😢😢 Chinese r is a consonant sound.😊

This is how Chinese schools teach pinyin (romanization) to kids who already know the language. I imagine it makes zero sense if you already know the Latin alphabet but don’t know any Chinese. 2 very different types of “beginner”😅
That is not pinyin...........that is a lesson on different sounds in the chinese language..... The pinyin....would be something like "li" (with a tone marker over the letter i) for my name Lee
I thought chinese were great at alphabet.it seems Indians have masterd alphabets as Devnagri System. Chinese are no where near above pinyin system Pronounciation is the copy of indian Devnagri. No doubt India is the Mother of civilization. I am proud of Hindi and all Devnagri system.

Chinese has 6 different tones for each vowels if you intoned it wrong the meaning of the word change and it has not alphabet of course is harder

the pronounciation of c is similar to t's in what's, while the one of k is similar to k in kite. Hope that would be helpful.😊
Z is like “dz” as in “kids”. C is like “ts” as in “cats”
