I can tell you that so much of Mare of Easttown was authentic depicting people, from the working class, suburban Philadelphia...especially how Kate worked so hard to get the accent just right.

The made-for-TV versions of the Betty Broderick story were somewhat okay. It is just that Hollywood should make a better version of the Betty Broderick story into a movie and I have this picture in my mind that Kate Winslet would portray Betty Broderick. Kate Winslet would portray Betty Broderick, Leonardo DiCaprio would portray Dan Broderick, Margot Robbie would portray Linda Kolkena Broderick, and Alyson Hannigan would portray Kerry Wells who was the prosecutor who got Betty Broderick convicted.
