Who the tabla player was I do not know but I have never heard such a stupid tabla with this two greatest artists India has ever gifted to the world of music.

This is a sublime performance, but the moment of clipping and distortion absolutely frikkin ruin it for me. Please consider running the audio through a program that can eliminate or at least reduce the distracting and unfortunate clipping.

Mesmerizing Jugalbandi..... Romanticism at it's zenith !! Unimaginable performance !!!..... Tabla accompaniment was well below average, harsh and at times quite annoyingly obtrusive.
although his style of accompaniment may not be of a conventionally aesthetic laudability, his technical virtuosity is truly a treat for any music connoisseur, I’d recommend listening to his accompaniment of pandit Nikhil Banerjee on the afternoon ragas album, particularly in the raag Multani presentation.
