    i honestly think i enjoy the less formal, more personal feel of this channel a little bit more then the main Seth's Bike Hacks channel. great work. keep it up.
    also please just look into Robertson screws. the square ones. they are absolutely amazing. they don't EVER cam out when you don't want them too are extremely hard to strip out and you can attach the screw to the bit on the drill and it wont fall off even it you shake it or hold it upside down (as long as it's not totally worn down) so you can operate the drill with only 1 hand and the other holding the workpiece instead of needing 2 hands to get the screw started. there's a reason that these screws are the number 1 choice and the absolute standard when it comes to building anywhere in Canada. i don't know why they aren't more common in in the USA because they are awesome and a pleasure to use. no more stabbing your hand with a drill and no more stripping and camming out

I mean, clearly it Seth is a man who knows himself and knows what he wants. Those who disapprove will come around or stop coming around; either way, lovey! But to that end,
    Annnyways, Seth, I’m a big fan! Love the humanity that’s present in these videos. The mtb family you have alongside Skills with Phil, Alexander and everyone else is both inspiring and motivating. • @th3oryO
      @th3oryO 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cup_and_cone That makes no sense to me, unless you have no access to robertson (i.e. outside of canada). They're just a shittier robertson, as torx still don't grip the screwdriver head like robertson head screws do. Built a few decks, not professional or anything, but unless you have one of them fancy belt feeders no everday handyman should go with a lesser product.

      @@th3oryO Looks like you've been grossly misinformed... Torx is better for production work because it's faster (six point vs four point) and stronger (more surface area to prevent round out).

    I have to agree with you on the Phillips bits. I understand that the flat head exist because it's cheap to make, but Phillips heads just suck when you compare them to torx bits. I've never had a torx bit strip on me, but flat and phillips heads strip so easily. You also might want to look into paste wax, it's a really quick wood finish that offers a decent bit of protection and looks nice but isn't entirely permanent and can be sanded off. You can also coat tools with it in between uses to protect them from rust
