Pere Marquette 1225 & Nickel Plate Road 765: Berkshire Memories 2019

As we close out The 8th Week in January, or should I properly say the last week in February, here is our last Vlog from 2019, Pere Marquette 1225 & Nickel Plate Road 765 Berkshire Memories 2019. While we didn't get to focus on the two Big Locomotives in our Channels first 2 years, we did get to see them both in 2019. And while Christian again was the only team member to be able to do it, it was a fun time. Seeing how for whatever reason, he decided to talk about day 1 of the Lerro Productions charter, during last years 1225 Memories video, he briefly mentions it again, and then goes straight into day 2! From there we talk about Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's Open House Membership Day 2019, to North Pole Express 2019 and why we missed both Steam In The Valley and the Cadillac Limited last year. Heres to hoping in 2020, we get to see more of these two Berkshires!
As February comes to close, last weekend Christian caught the New York Central heritage unit & Chris went planespotting. We are going to try and go railfanning this weekend so we can get a little more content for the Railfanning video this Friday. We may also go planespotting soon. This video is awesome! But… I’m just a huge fan of the flying number boards - I think it makes the engine look more grand, but I’m interested, I’ve never heard of there being different individual names of the styles of the 1225, I just thought that - sometimes they choose to add flying number boards and white stripes and, other times they just don’t feel like it… tell me more about this! Great video you guys made, have a good day!
