@STG thanks for posting this video. I own BLR TUNING here in Vancouver Washington. You guys have helped us out several times. RYAN from Cypress California is now banned from our website as well. We have not had any orders from him yet but we did flag him on our website and we have notes right next to the computer. We will not be offering any custom tuning nor will we be offering any of our parts or services. Ryan will eventually not be able to get any help from anyone in the motorcycle industry. Every company should have this.
My wife worked at lowes and people would literally put bricks and random stuff in boxes and try and return it. And then claim some lie when she opened the box. I understand times are tuff. But you have the time to put the effort into a scam, why not just put the effort into honest money..Only the super rich can get away with scamming money. Because they have more then enough money for attorneys to get out of it

He has probably gotten away with this scam at other bigger retailers.
He thought it was Amazon where they don't care. What suks about this crap. Is like Walmart where they don't check. And you order online and you get a used gpu that isn't even the correct one. And then have to fight with them about it. Because if the person clicks the unopened/unused box they don't even check. Newegg and others do the same thing. Or ebay where you get just the body of the item. Don't even get me started on the giftcard scam .

@@adrianzmajla4844 Hi Adrian, I am a bit of a stickler for gloves as I have got a manual job. Amongst others, I have got a pair of RS Taichi GP-Evo R gloves, they are superb quality, really well put together. The Knox palm sliders are integrated nicely and I particularly like the additonal protective panel on the back of the hand that articulates a bit like the scales on an armadillo. The only thing "missing" is an accordion between ring and little fingers. Size chart from the manufacturer seems true, I prioritised wrist crease to finger tip length over palm circumference and they fit perfectly. My group for comparison that I have/currently own include Five RFX race (great design but after less than 6 months of occasional use the secondary velcro strap in the wrist crease disintegrated, Five offered refund rather than replacement); the RFX-1 are comfy but don't have much in the way of protection on the back of the hand; Alpinestars Supertech gloves nicely made too, a little narrower across the palm than others IMO. Hope this helps.

Name, shame, create a dispute with the bank, show them pics of the 2 together, he's out of $450 + however much he paid for the Chinese copy unless he pays for the postage but that money is going nowhere until he's done so, end of argument, although Ryan is automatically banned from buying anything from your shop.

They didn't return his money so they don't really have anything to sue for. All they could try to get is the cost of shipping the fake pipe back and that would be a small claims thing. Not worth it at all.

I had someone try to return shoes they said they never worn them... Shoes had dog poop stuck in the bottom, someone tried to return a hooded sweatshirt said it was defective cuz it got a hole in it from the bonfire they were at.

I think businesses have insurance to cover things that are stolen (aka shrinkage) so they should have that to fall back on

We run a small manufacturer/distributor company that deals with a lot of ATV customers. With that customer base in mind, it is a weekly thing that happens. I love the video. The world has become a very hard place to have a honest business. Things like this are becoming so common it is sickening. I have seen a few small businesses that have a customer of shame page. Might just have to start one. Just remember that Karma is a beautiful thing. Let's make Ryan even more famous.

I used to work at a bike shop that had a small wrecker section were we sold second hand bits. I used to engrave the sold parts with a small tell-tale as AHoles trying to return their burnt out crap for a refund was incredibly common.

So f* ked up… we only got stuff sent back with minor scratches, missing parts etc. nothing like this so far. But we always DO get back some additional unknown bolts and washers 😂 and 10mm nuts. Bringing this to the track for sharing.

I'm glad you check your returns. I've bought a powered yard tool that box looked all new but when opened up was covered in dirt and scratches and didn't work. I'm sure The Home Depot got scammed by a return, but I felt like they were scamming me.
7 days later and I'm scrolling thru these comments trying to figure out which of you is Ryan. Columbo knows you are in here, just couldn't resist could ya?
The problem is withholding the refund is futile. Ryan will just contact his credit card company and do a chargeback stating he sent the product back and has tracking to prove it. The credit card company will side with their customer. The business tyipcally takes the hit as most credit card processors will try to dispute it but in the long run they have to accept the decision of the customers credit card company. Many of the processors won't protect the business. Paypal does have seller protection so if the business used them as their processor and they had tracking and shipped to the address listed with paypal then paypal will take the hit and the business won't be out any $. However, the crook still gets away. Same situation applies to product bought with a stolen credit card number. Also they will sometimes have the items delivered to an abondoned address or a UPS store where they can pick the product up without revealing their home address (sometimes the UPS store workers are in on it and act as a front and will skip the signature). Sad world out there.
I feel ya Brian, It's a sad world we live in right now. People will put more time and effort in trying to scam a person or flat out steal something than they will actually put in working for it and having pride for what they worked hard to achieve. Sorry this happened. Although I feel It's probably not the first time. I am a long time customer and appreciate your contribution to our sport. Thank you for all you do. Additionally, I hope RYAN from Cypress, CA gets the Karma that's coming to him, POS!
