Independent Fabrication不锈钢 钢架头管开裂维修案例。
由于这款if SSR雷诺953不锈钢车架头管在车架设计和制造过程中增加了下管的加强结构，二次焊接则导致下管部位应力过大，头管拉扯变形，短时间使用后就出现了开裂现象。
为彻底解决头管开裂隐患，我采用裂缝处tig焊接修复，外加银钎焊2205高强度不锈钢加强套的双保险方式，使这台高端不锈钢公路车架重获新生，并保证头管处不再出现开裂问题。

I think before welding need drill hole on end crack. Like glass.

Why not REMOVE the head tube for a complete replacement? That way, you can add extra wall thickness for greater strength? Nickel Silver brazing rod?

No need to remove the whole head tube,cause its more easy in this way.and the strength is enough. 60%Silver rod.

Maybe its caused by welding stress，you can see the double layers of strength structure between the head tube and down tube, and this 953 tubing is really rigid but brittle I think.

My guess is a collision with a rock at high speed. Possibly it was on top of a car and the owner drove under an overhang. Possibly just prolonged hard riding by a larger rider (metal fatigue). I would not expect 4130 steel to crack like that. The tube probably was thick enough had it been 4130 but stainless is less strong.
