First make sure you are getting full extension and then the typical goal for fore and aft of a saddle is that when you are sitting on the saddle and the crank arm is fully forward you should be able to drop a plumb bob from your knee cap and it will be right inline with the center of your pedal. That is to get a good starting point that you will need to adjust from.
Have you ever used a laser level to properly orient the nose of the saddle? I have terrible astigmatisms in my eyes, so it is hard for me to eyeball it. A laser level might work
STF down at the 5:20 mark to explain this seat nose adjustment nightmare. Instead, you speed up and turn the hex bit the wrong direction on the first turn. Eastman’s documentation is horrible.
Great tips! Your videos are the Best!
Thank you for this video
Someone had said with great care "Trust the mustache". I want to say Trust the Beard this time! 😊😅
Is it common to have your saddle angled to the left or right??
You certainly see saddles angled left/right, but rarely for a good reason.
How can I decide the location of the saddle to avoid knees pain?
