The slow build of this Live vesion along with Live musicians is perfection. Not only do we get another side of Disturbed (showcasing their classical musicality) but we get an orchestra as well. The lighting and David Draiman sliding seamlessly in and out of a vocal fry is poetry in motion. I get goosebumps every time. Great reaction thanks for sharing.
I got goosebumps AGAIN....no matter how many times I hear David Draiman sing this! You're right....the man can sing!!! A powerful yet soulful voice that can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, from clear as a crystal to rasp/distortion/vocal fry and back without effort! He has a timbre in his voice that I've never heard before........just hauntingly beautiful! An awesome talent. Loved your reaction Mega.

Hey there, do not take to heart when people are not totally pleased with what you do. Just do things the way you feel is right and how you want them. Is ok to be yourself and do things in your own style. As for David, he never does anything that he can not perform live. I had the honor to see this band live in concert and he is amazing. The whole band is amazing live. I discovered this band many years ago and to be honest their music saved my life. Their music and their work helped me fight and overcome my suicidal thoughts so i can say honestly that i own my life to these amazing guys. They have talent, they are hard workers and they are pure inspiration for many people all over the world. If you decide to dive deeper into their music you will see what i am talking about.
Also, I just watched you react to the studio version and you made a point that I think many people feel while watching it for the first time. What’s funny is, it’s a lyric in the song: “people hearing without listening”. Many people have heard and even liked the Simon and Garfunkel version without ever listening to the lyrics. David really makes you feel it.
No studio tricks here...this man is out on an island. Much much better than the studio version. One of the top live performances in music history. Peace...

Haha before you even started you were saying that often live isn't as good .. and I just couldn't wait to see David blow you away. On top of that he was sick with a fever so high he sat down for the performance because he was worried about passing out. This man is the most amazing vocalist
