I cant afford a vive, and my PC wouldnt handle it, but watching people being enthusiastic about VR again makes me so very happy that i backed the oculus 5 years ago. It also makes me sad that i bet on the wrong horse, seeing how as oculus has launched, an nobody gives a shit.
It really does suck. If a company like Sony (who we know is doing VR) had bought it instead of Facebook, it would be in the same boat as the vive right now.

I was already blown away by the on-rails experiences of VR on phones with headsets but this... The possibilities are endless and the tech is still so new. Bit of a ramble, but this made me so happy. Now I just have to sever a hole in my budget for VR that is finally competent.
