You're welcome. I've never tried what you are suggesting before but my first guess is no. They are different formats. What you would have to do is look at the export format options available in Gmail. Then look at the import format options available in Office 365. If they don't have one format that they share, it can't be done easily. One way to do it though is using Outlook app or Mozilla Thunderbird. Setup IMAP accounts for both Gmail and Microsoft emails. You can transfer files through that app.
This was more about takeout than backup. To explain Takeout is not like a backup and there is no restore option. It's for archiving history. There are different backup services depending on who your host is for Google Business. But if it's a personal Gmail account, the only backup option maybe using a program like Outlook to sync to your computer and backup that synced copy.
