I'm from Philly, i moved out to L.A. for a couple years. First month I was out there i lived with my Uncle Rick and his husband, i got there right when the 2008 series started. Dudes never watched baseball but watched the whole world series with me. I made no mention of Bucks perceived bias. Game 3, completely unprompted, Rick says, "this Joe guy seems to hate Philadelphia. "
That was a 'Philly' weekend, where Joe did 'double-duty'. He called the game Saturday night (WS Game 3, rain delay). Sunday Afternoon...he calls the Eagles game...then goes over the street to call Game 4 of the WS Sunday Night. He called WS Game 5 on Monday, which was delayed due to rain...and resumed Wednesday, where the Phillies won. Absolutely loved his call when DeSean Jackson did the 'walk-off' punt return against the Giants, 2010.
McCarver always over analyzed everything! i heard Mccarver when he was doing mets games. I started liken Buck when Giants punter Dodge kicked to DeSean and he returned the punt!
Nice to see him actually address it lol Philly fans def feel a way towards Buck and it has to do with his baseball commentary particularly in 2008. I’m sure someone can make a full TH-cam compilation on it over the years.
It was baseball. During that Phils run from 2007 - 2011 he’d call the Fox playoffs and not only was he a “non-homer national guy callin our team” the Cardinals were a major nemeses at the time and we know he’s a Cardinals fan. Those games were brutally biased.
As an eagles fan I love Kelce, but man he needs to go away for a bit lol. The podcast and MNF was enough but now a late night show his wife has her own podcast and he does his own TH-cam channel cmon man stop it
Nah. He's great. There's no such thing as needing to go away. How do I know........ You came here just to comment, so you proved he's doing fine just by showing up.
Does Philly hate him more than KC? Hm. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He thinks he's hated because he says great things about the "other team" but that's not it. KC's announcers do that all the time. It's because he does not balance his positive and negative comments between the two teams playing. He frickin' despised KC and it showed so clearly that people outside of KC were amazed by his call.
Joe, I agree with you on one point only ... Philly DOES hate you because of baseball!!💯 South Jersey girl, but a Phillies fan thru n thru ⚾️🏀🏒🏈 Every time I hear your voice, it makes me wanna mute your play by play!! For real, dude! Just your tone of voice is disrespectful to me!😂😂😂
Joe Buck is a very nice Guy. We hated his love fest with our #MLB opponents in 2008 but that’s just part of the business. Actions speak louder than words. The #Phillies won the 2008 championship. Good night Joe. ⚾️⚾️⚾️❤️❤️❤️ Collingsworth is not a nice guy and #Philly is not the only fan base that hates him.

He ain't wrong, the '08 Postseason was terrible with him and McCarver

I used to hate joe buck, but past couple years hatred faded. Collinsworth is the worst.
Collinsworth is just dumb.. but Olsen and Davis are definitely the worst
I get that it’s supposed to be a fun and comedic show. But, that lady is drunk and nobody is less funny than a drunk woman.

Collinsworth was literally rooting for the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Buck is not on the same level of hatred.
joe buck calling a philly game : mitchell … mitchell … mitchell …
My favorite…’DeSean Jackson… GETS A BLOCK….UNBELIEVABLE!
When Matt stairs hit the homer in 08 vs the dodgers, his home run call sounded like stairs killed his dog.
Like Ben stein
I always kind of felt like when a big moment happened, his call for it was like if it was the opposing team’s announcer making the call.
Los Angeles has a problem with Joe Buck as well!!

This was Jerry Springer, if Jerry Springer only had rich people on.
08 NLCS Dodgers glaze is why Philly hates Joe Buck forever ever!!
As an Eagles fan, I still hate Joe Buck.
I enjoy Joe Buck. I think he lets the game do the talking at the right times.
Joe Buck is my all time favorite sports game play-by-play announcer
The issue with Joe is the obvious glazing of the opponents. Giving respect or reacting to a positive play is one thing, glazing is another.
This is so cringey. Go Birds🦅
This isn't the reason Philly hates him. We hate him because he is always on Aikman's nuts and he comes off as a Dallas homer.
As an eagles fan I love Kelce, but man he needs to go away for a bit lol. The podcast and MNF was enough but now a late night show his wife has her own podcast and he does his own TH-cam channel cmon man stop it
He’s not doing himself any favors. He’s looking like a clown nowadays. Just retire with some dignity man.

Pretty sure after reading yall opinions he'll just go away. 🙄🙄
I'll watch when he has Sage Steele or Sam Ponder as a guest.
Joe Buck was awesome in Longmire

⚾️🏀🏒🏈
Every time I hear your voice, it makes me wanna mute your play by play!!
For real, dude!
Just your tone of voice is disrespectful to me!😂😂😂
So, people are taught to hate people? Hmmm 🤔 why does that sound familiar?
There's a reason why Joe Buck's talk show failed. He's as interesting as drying paint.
Joe Buck is a very nice Guy. We hated his love fest with our #MLB opponents in 2008 but that’s just part of the business. Actions speak louder than words. The #Phillies won the 2008 championship. Good night Joe. ⚾️⚾️⚾️❤️❤️❤️
Collingsworth is not a nice guy and #Philly is not the only fan base that hates him.
Industry plant getting a huge push to overcome the lack of talent
This is possibly the worst show I have ever seen on tv. So cringy and uncomfortable.
Joe is a baseball guy..i don't like him either..
I'm sorry, but I cant stand Joe Buck.
Joe Buck is a nepo baby who never bothered to learn anything about the sports he mindlessly babbles about on TV.
Joe Buck is not all that good! Nor is Troy Aikman!
who is better then them now nobody! Madden is gone
@ true but they are still not good. Most of the play by play & color analysis just don’t seem to be all that or care about the job.
