from what I can tell Flowey uses attacks of monsters you killed (specifically bosses), and the only way to reach him without killing anyone is to attack Martlet, as she flees and her fleeing breaks pacifist rules. I mean, I 100% saw Flowey use less types of attacks on different neutral runs.
The dalv battle jumpscared me, because I actually remember seeing a demo of undertale yellow with that fight in it. I didn't realize it was the same game until seeing this video!
