Sure, here are the steps to implement a feature in a chat app created using MIT App Inventor CloudDB that displays the number of online users: Drag a CloudDB component from the Palette to the Viewer. In the Blocks Editor, create a list variable called "OnlineUsers" and initialize it to an empty list. When a user logs in or opens the app, add their username to the "OnlineUsers" list in the CloudDB by storing the updated list using the "StoreValue" block. You can use the "GetValue" block to get the current value of the "OnlineUsers" list, add the new username to the list, and then store the updated list back to the CloudDB using the "StoreValue" block. @@KrishnaRaghavendran unfortunately I use a macbook and cannot open the APK file because I need an app that can function the apk but bluestacks doesn't work on macbook
You can share the apk to your android phone and install the apk in the android phone instead of using bluestacks or any emulators as you have a macbook.

Images cannot be stored in CloudDB. But I will try adding the feature. You can add notification feature using extension. I will make a video for that...

How can we know whom will the message be sent to? Because there should be an option to send to a particular person.
When a message is sent it will be visible to everybody who has the app. I will create a option to send to a particular person in my future tutorials.

You don't need to connect two mobiles. You just need to install the Chat App in both the mobiles and the app will start working...
