the drive down along the DVP is so scenic during the summer and fall with the trees and downtown skyline in the distance
Thanks for the vids on my TV while I work from home every day. Yes some of us are still working from home. After your videos feel like I’ve actually been to Toronto.
Dear johnny! You are a great man, Your videos make me very happy, I really love the country and people of Canada
Starting Point was at the Don Valley golf Course 401 is the busiest highway in North America yes even more busy then the freeways in California, I am so old I remember when the Don Valley Parkway use to end at Steeles Ave. I grew up in this part of Toronto (Don Mills)
Beautiful day and beautiful walk! BIG LIKE!!!
Thanks for the video. Hats off to you for doing that drive.
Thanks much for the ridealong, Johnny Strides! Caught your video from Niagara Falls to Toronto & now this one, nice to see the sights along the highways, etc., before you return the car! Take care, Cheers! Stay very safe!🥰🥰🦅🦅🦅🦅
Thank you for the car drive. Haven't been around that loop in a long time. Not since the Covid arrived. ❤❤
Great highway video. I'm driving down to Toronto in july. Nice to know what to expect
Thanks for another great driving video around Toronto Johnny enjoyed it very much.
Was amazed that you rented the car, drove it to get your Chili at your mom's and then around Toronto a bit all for only about $60.00, if I am not mistaken. Great tour and Happy Belated Birthday Johnny.🍰
Nice driving video Johnny
good morning everyone
Happy birthday thanks for saterday with you and Ken well donexx
Interesting loop drive around T.O. I've occasionally thought of doing something similar around my city (Oshawa), although it would be all surface streets and concession roads, no highways. This was an interesting change of pace from either Striding or E-riding. I enjoyed the video, thanks very much. 🙂
I mean you could do 401, 412, 407 and 418 but it’s very costly.
Great video Johnny, thanks for the ride apart from that faint tapping noise near the end 😃
13:36 "Now he's changing back to the left lane. Does he have to pee or something?" 🤔😆😂😂😂😂😂
I LOVE IT!
29:31 I remember Them days I sat in the back of the bus and flew out of my seat whenever the driver went over a bump. I didn't sit back there simply to be a "cool kid" because I got bullied, beat up, and then in high school I was sexually exploited. So, no! I sat back there at every chance I got because it was so dadgone fun! ☺️👊🏻😆👊🏻
That is what I do when I borrow my dad’s car for highway driving practice Johnny.
@13:00 I think Myth busters did an episode on lane changing and they proved you actually take longer then if you just pick a lane and stick to it.
I did this once but I started northbound on the Allen expwy and then finished south bound.
Always though this would be a cool bike loop to ride and raise money for a charity, but I guess would be hard to shut down that many roads all at once.
At 11:42 you can see a double dump truck trailer that seems oddly similar to the one that caused a shutdown of the DVP a few weeks ago
Nice video. Nice drive.
you are good driver don't change lanes often for me I would not go 105 stay safe
I’m not saying as insult but it amazes me that people can make a good enough living off of TH-cam and especially to make enough money to live in a city like Toronto. I need to seriously reconsider my life choices.
Johnny...... You're sense of humour with that weirdo driver is totally smart-aleck.... I Like It!.. I Like It!.... The guy was probably perfecting his down hill skiing skills for the up coming winter and instead of using skis, he dicided slolom using a vehicle and endangering other lives.... the end... Always with Good Tatste... CHEERS!.... Be Supportive and Subscribe
Keep coming . HWY10.. you are getting near to my area. 😂😂
Hi johnny
Good morning everyone I won’t be watching the premiere because I am not feeling well
Hope you feel better soon, Gurtej!
@@sepandttcexplorer thanks Sepand
Did you ever figure out what that knocking sound was?
Nope lol
Nice ride. Toronto main roadways are well set out, mostly east/west north/south. Is there no gas station closer to Enterprise? That Shell is quite a distance away. Did you burn a big chunk of the $38. top-up just to return the car?
The needle was still full when I returned it so it's moot lol Less gas stations are good IMO
@@JohnnyStrides
Yes, you do great work with the camera. Thanks.
Yea, I'm going for a car ride. However I'm a day late. 😂
I’m also under the weather
Good thing you did this drive well before the shitshow 3 year construction on the Gardiner in spring of 2024.
what is enterprise, where you parked your car in this end
Maybe your gas cap not shut tight. 🤔
I already don't like driving locally in Europe but Toronto traffic is much more frustrating, Toronto should focus on public transit and discourage driving but there is not much hope for drastic changes at TTC I guess.
The dvp is already bad at 11:30 there’s like red and yellow there at 12:30 it’s dark red
Every one wants to be first & they dont care who they take with them, if something goes wrong. Many drivers so aggressive. No respect for the roads, rules & other drivers. 😮 Careful.
The 401 is good at 11:30 and 12:30 maybe even 1 going west is abit bad
23:39 Skyline looking Dubaish… lol
Where did you used to work?
Is that tired old busiest highway in North America ever going to die? It's the busiest highway in the world.
Popeye's going out of business 'cuz their chicken is too expensive (actually, not just theirs, all of them) nowadays. I remember being able to get an 8-piece box for $18.99 around 2019 and now they want $25.99 for it, a 36% increase over just a few years. Ridiculous.
The Gardiner Expressway needs to be tunneled underground.
Nice video. Driven those highways way too many times, and in the worst of traffic jams... However, I will say, everyone who lives in Toronto thinks its the best city in the world. I've worked there for over 20 years. There's nothing great about it. Apart from the beaches area, its ugly AF. Nothing but concrete and glass everywhere. It stinks like sewage and garbage. The drivers in and around the city are insane. They're ready to die and take anyone else with them. You have a pretty good chance of getting knifed on the subway or catching a bullet at night. I could go on forever... I'm glad I don't have to commute to that hellhole every day anymore and I get to work from home now.
Highways? Seriously? Too many highways already.
i see you respodnded my last comments thats cool thanks, but yeah im start my own streams showing how racist the city is.. for real im native fro maniitoulin n ive been homless there past10 yrs, n people really suck there, being forced to steal is not cool cause not a soul could even try help me bur i escaped that horror, ill stopn but hope hear from you bud later its dustin...not hoolies
You gotta be loopy to do this so-called loop! Absolute waste of time and $. Toronto does not cater to cars! Everyone should put up with everyone elses shit on shitty transit, with horrible customer service, and bedbugs everywhere. And let's build more condos and drop all speed limits to 30km/h 🫡
