William Hammill I was thinking of a DLC like left behind. Maybe around when Ellie was 16 or sumn. So we could see her friendship with Dina, and the father-daughter relationship with Joel. Maybe him teaching her how to swim, or how to play a certain song on the guitar. But yeah, they really fucked over Joel :/ he deserved a lot fucking better.
Agreed like if dina went back to the town then ellie went to find her and apologised to her for leaving and dina forgive her and they got back together and lived happily. They way the ending should've been. Instead of the way it ended on a cliffhanger

Because the whole game is obviously about people getting revenge, ND wanted to show that Ellie was the smart and compassionate one to then end the cycle. Still hate it though lmao.

Adam Linguil yeah, but they literally built the story up with Ellie sacrificing everything. She killed a lot of people, traveled miles, saw her friends get shot and killed in front of her, (maybe) lost her relationship with Dina, and in the end, when she almost is about to achieve the very thing she had been working towards, she gets an inexplicable change of heart and all of her sacrifices were all of a sudden for nothing. It was an extremely unsatisfying ending to what I thought was a good game.

robot 1435 but that’s what makes the ending so goo and so fucking brilliant because ellie is not a cold hearted killer sure she murdered those people gaslit by revenge to kill those who killed joel but after she brutally kills nora something in changes and then mell (abbys pregnant friend) ellie is a good person in fact she’s lucky to have survived the fight where dina and her almost died by the hands of abby, tommy too ! tbh i think the ending was good because there is no happy ending in a cycle of violence and before embarking on a journey of revenge you must dig two graves.
because in the end her need for this vicious cycle caused her to lose everything (dina, tommy, the baby) her returning home and trying to play the song joel taught her was beyond devastating and yet so hauntingly beautiful because it’s one of the main memories she cherished as you see through the game only for her to not even have that to hold onto too anymore leaving the guitar behind saying goodbye to joel in a way. also they could have done some things better or differently in my opinion but that still doesn’t take away from the beautiful story they druckmann wrote

@@gtrrohit5078 Honestly, I dig it. I absolutely love Joel, he's one of my all time favorite characters and despite starting the first game at 18, he did leave a father-figure type impression on me. That's exactly why his death was such an important plot device. Seeing him killed that way put me in tears and actually physically hurt. However I'm glad Druckman had the balls to not resort to the MCU method and just drown the game in fan service. If Joel received a Tony Stark or Steve Rogers type death, it would be a massive waste. The fact that his death hurt actually is a sign of good storytelling, it forces you to either use that emotional momentum get more invested into the story or you can get angry and use it to get less invested and ruin your experience. If he did, the game would have been better received, however it would have also been much more mediocre and I would have felt very little actual emotion since it would be so much more predictable and bland. That's what certain people hate about this game; it's unpredictable, the moral ambiguity makes us feel uncomfortable, the story deals with more complicated and tragic themes you have to confront. If you vent your feelings outside the game, you will never get the full experience.
@@majorevangelism I wish more fans understood this point. Many of them wanted a Tony Stark type of death. We all love Joel but this is the world of The Last of Us. Look how Tess died, Sam, Henry, Marlene. Their bodies out there rotting for years with no one to bury them. At least Joel got a grave.

I'm not sure about you but i actually blame Tommy for Ellie leaving Dina, she was more than comfortable with living with the love of her life and her adopted son, that is until Tommy mentioned Abby again then that rage came back, i know some people might disagree with me but that's just my opinion.
She was filled by PTSD of his death before tommy showed up. Although tommy can be blamed he can’t be blamed entirely
I wouldn't say Eliie was living comfortably. Did you watch at 2:05:55? On the surface it may look like she is living her dream life with Dina, but when I saw that moment where Ellie has her PTSD episode, I knew there wasn't going to be a good ending for her; too scarred for that. Joel's death is gonna haunt her for at least a few years and it will be impossible for Ellie to let go since she'll have reminders and episodes all over the place.
Sure, Tommy is partially to blame. However, if someone wronged you in an unspeakable way and a different person comes along to give you a chance to set things right, would you do it? Especially when you're as determined as Ellie is?
Since Ellie going after Abby doesn't fit with Dina's happy ever after and Ellie's PTSD was tearing her apart, I believe it was only a matter of time until Ellie left. Even without Tommy pointing her to Abby's direction.
I agree Tommy definitely instigated it, but I think if Ellie found out on her own, she definitely would’ve gone after her anyway.

Honestly I understand why Dina left and probably returned to Jacksonville. But she loved Ellie you could tell how genuine it was with how many times she nearly died trying to save Ellie. Even when she was pregnant she wouldn't leave Ellie, even when she was too sick to accompany her. It makes me sad that after everything Ellie returns to an empty house. I was really hoping Dina would be waiting for her. I was so sad to see that she didn't even leave her a note, that was the part that broke my heart.
I love these two as a pairing the portrayal was done so well. You can tell that Dina and Ellie had feelings for each other way back to when they first met years before the events of the second game. When Ellie starts to date Kat, Dina gets so jealous that she distances herself from Ellie.

It was really uncommon to see them like that. Most stories focus on gay relationship as something forbidden / challenging / sexy / tragic etc, and here we just have them as a common relationship of two people who love each other. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gay couple represented like that.
The irony is that if Ellie was a guy it would be a story similar to many others. We’ve seen this all before: love triangles, pregnancy, family, leaving the one you love for some shit... But there was so much hate only because of their gender.

Adam Linguil her going back to the compound is what I hope happens. If Jessie’s parents are still around, it’ll be good for their grandson to grow up with them (since they lost Jessie). I feel like a third game could be out in the next 5 years, and it’ll be interesting to see if I was right, and if Ellie even goes back to the compound.

I didn't mind the ending with regards to letting Abby go, but Ellie and Dina's unfinished story really hit me hard. I'm just having to imagine that Ellie leaves the farmhouse, goes back to Jackson, reconciles with Dina and brings up JJ with her. I love these two so, so much.

Just like how Joel made his own choices in the first game that some people disagreed with (it was far more controversial at the time it released). If we could make those choices for Ellie then the story would have no poignance. Everything Ellie did made sense for who she is and what she went through.

If tommy didn’t play with her emotions and mental state Ellie would have stayed. But tommy has so much rage and he is handicapped pretty much that he used Ellie as his pawn to get his revenge

The scene at 2:01:58 parallels Ellie and Dina's argument on the night Ellie leaves the farm.
Here, Dina wants to keep dancing with Ellie, but chooses to keep doing chores (because she feels that the chores have to get done). Later, she wants to go with Ellie to Santa Barbara but chooses not to (because she feels that she shouldn't leave JJ).
When Dina said "I'm not going to do this again", she is talking about following Ellie to kill Abby.
Anyway, this sequence actually starts with Ellie looking at Joel's watch, so we know that Ellie is using intimacy to get her mind off other things. Dina wants to cuddle with Ellie, but since it's taking time away from the other things that she feels must get done, she reluctantly pushes Ellie away.
Here, we are seeing how much all of what happened has changed Dina from being spontaneous to being almost rigid. Where she used to be so intuitive about Ellie's needs, she now doesn't realize that she isn't fully prioritizing Ellie's emotional health.
More than that, Dina uses her body (the thing Ellie needs to comfort herself) to put distance between them. After this scene, Ellie doesn't reach for Dina again. All other physical contact between them is initiated by Dina, and is barely reciprocated by a mentally exhausted, guilt ridden, and emotionally empty Ellie. Ellie's journal reads that she has started to avoid Dina because she (Ellie) feels like an emotional and physical burden to Dina. Beginning with their conversation about bringing in the sheep we hear hints of how dealing with PTSD Ellie is weighing on Dina. Throughout this farm life sequence, the storytellers remove Dina's bracelet from Ellie's wrist as a sign of their emotional disconnection from each other.
The night Ellie leaves the farm, she wakes up thinking about Dina. Ellie plays her guitar, strumming the song that they first kiss to. It triggers a flashback of the dance where Dina kisses her first. Ellie remembers how happy she felt kissing Dina. She remembers how she nearly fought Seth for insulting Dina, and she remembers how Joel defended them both. She remembers her mistake of yelling at Joel even though she was pleasantly surprised to learn he was okay with her being gay. She remembers feeling guilty for that. When the flashback ends, Ellie has remembered that Joel always fought for her, and decides that she has to keep fighting for him too. For Ellie, going after Abby is just as much about avenging Joel as it is about becoming whole again, for herself, and for Dina.
With all that said, the storytellers do a good job of showing us that even though Dina has changed so much, she remains loyal to Ellie. (In Seattle, an insecure Ellie returned wounded from going after Nora alone, despite a frustrated Dina's counsel not to. Dina didn't argue with Ellie. She cleaned Ellie's wounds and reassured Ellie that she won't lose her). When Ellie is seen returning to the farm, she is already wearing Dina's bracelet again to symbolize that their relationship is back on track.

Only this time, Abby actually gets killed.
I hated it so much when she left, but to me it makes sense that Ellie couldn't let go of her revenge plot eventhough she had such a perfect life with Dina and JJ. She wasn't able to let it go and would've lived with that feeling forever if she didn't go. I'm glad that she did have a change of heart in regards to Abby in the end after seeing her suffer and care for Lev, and after almost beating her to death. She's able to move on now. Though I hated it, I guess it was necessary for Ellie's character. That final flashback scene with Joel is so important. It shows not only the emotions she held for him and why she hated Abby so deeply, it also reflects on her letting Abby go, and hopefully on her future with Dina; that she's willing to forgive Ellie some day.
Part 1 was so filled with hope but ended on a bleek note. Part 2 was just so dark and depressing, but ended... somewhat hopeful.

The Last of Us 1 was pretty much a tragedy from the perspective of anyone but Joel. He did a selfish thing and everyone will suffer for it. In this game Ellie suffers immeasurable, but will go forward with so much strength and has perspective on the cycle of violence that permeates her world, she can be a positive force in the world now. Her life can still "fucking matter".

At first I was a bit devastated by the ending: she ends up alone right? But the more I sat with it and thought about it, the more I realized it's actually hopeful. Ellie was fighting for the wrong things; Joel was gone, killing Abby wouldn't bring him back, and it would only do more harm. She forgot to look to the light, to make the choice to be happy. If she had just stayed on the farm without Tommy's intervention, she likely never would have come to that realization. Looking back on Ellie and Dina's relationship, they've been through SO much together and it's clear they are soulmates. The farm isn't that far from Jackson, and judging by the dust on the floor it looks like it hadn't been abandoned for too long: it's likely Dina DID wait for a while, before returning to Jackson to raise the baby in safety. It must have been awful for her living in that house alone after all, surrounded by reminders of Ellie everywhere!
In California Ellie isn't wearing Dina's bracelet, but in the epilogue she is. I believe she is finally accepting Joel's death, and going to find Dina to fight for her family. It might take a while, but I believe everything is set up that they will get back together. Take on Me is synonymous with their relationship: She is odds and ends, but will slowly learn life is OK :)

I hate that a huge part of the fandom threw the anger of Joel's death on Dina. Dina is an absolutely well-written character, she deeply loved and cared about Ellie and did anything for her. Yet people are either homophobic, or misogynistic, or they just so immature that they give up on everything because of plot twist
i’m hoping in the next game it’s ellie’s goal to like go get dina. like i really hope they let them work out. i’m so invested in this relationship. i really wish they could’ve done more about them being in love and to see more background of their friendship before this started. i didn’t like that we got more relationship stuff and sexual content from abby and owen than we did with ellie and dina. it just felt like it was no fair. their relationship was the only reason i played this game but i felt like they overhyped their relationship in the trailer than what they actually did in the game. they made it seem like their relationship would be more prominent than it was.
I think that's done fam. Ellie made her choice, that was the cost of getting closure and it sucks, but the whole point of their relationship is that it's the sacrificial lamb to hate and revenge. I liked the music choice during their romance scenes. It's not a lovey-dovey song, it's a dirge almost, mournful and saying this action will have a cost. Like that getting close to Dina is only going to cause her pain in the end. Song is called: It Can't Last. In this world attachments can only hurt you in the end. Like how Joel's love for Ellie prevents the end of immeasurable suffering from everyone in it when he kills the Fireflies (which poetically sealed his own fate in the form of killing Abby's father)
Shit is layered fam but in my eyes. Last of Us 1 is the tragedy born out of love. Last of Us 2 is about Ellie learning a valuable lesson through hatred and in a weird way, this is a triumph, because I guarantee you she will grow from this. She was facing herself the whole time not Abby and in the end she won when she let her go. Don't despair, it's not over yet.
Agreed. There were so many moments that were set up for conversation between the two of them and we got none of it. They shouldve had a fight over Ellie's attitude/jealousy when she left for the hospital, the conversation about Dina being pregnant was cut off, we shouldve gotten goodbye scenes when Ellie left, more emotional responses when they almost die infront of one another multiple times like it's just little things they didn't do and it made their relationship colder than it shouldve been. I also feel like there shouldve been two endings. If you kill all the enemies, Nora, Mel and Owen and choose to go after Abby at the Aquarium you get this ending but if you show empathy Ellie tells Tommy to leave and stays with Dina.

When Ellie got back from the hospital, the last thing she needed was a fight between her and Dina. She was in a state of shock after Nora and the fact that Dina was there to clean Ellie up and just hold her, reassured her more than anything else would. That short exchange of "I don't want to lose you" and "Good" said more than a long drawn out fight would have. It was an "I don't want to lose what we have together (whether that meant Ellie didn't want Dina to die or she didn't want her to end things and go back to Jesse to raise their kid together or both) and a response of "Good, I'm glad you feel that way, cause I feel the same. I'm not going anywhere."
The conversation about Dina's pregnancy got cut short _on purpose_ because Ellie was scared and angry and worried and in her emotional state she had already said something that she regretted. She needed time and space to process and Dina really needed to rest anyway. Besides, it wasn't the time or place to have the conversation on what Dina was going to do with the baby or how it was going to affect their relationship. They needed to focus on getting Tommy so that they could leave and on how they were going to get out of Seattle alive now that Dina was a little bit of a liability. No use talking about future plans if you're not alive to see them through.
The responses we got from them when the other was in danger were plenty emotional. Ellie suddenly struggling harder against her ropes to get free after Dina saves her and falls through the roof? Ellie panicking when Dina offers to share her mask when Ellie's breaks? Dina then panicking when Ellie takes off her broken mask, thinking she's going to turn? Dina desperately throwing herself into attacking Abby when she was about to kill Ellie, even though she was weakened from her pregnancy? The only time you could argue that there wasn't an overly emotional response to one of them being in danger was when Abby was about to kill Dina. Ellie was exhausted and had just been beat to shit, so I think she can be excused for not having a lot of energy in the moment.
Seems like what you wanted was more serious, big, dramatic moments between the two, but that's not the kind of people they are. They've been best friends for years before they got into a relationship; they _get_ each other. With a relationship like that, displays of love and affection are going to be more subtle and understanding is going to come easier. Some things won't need to be said in order for one to get what the other is thinking/feeling. I think it's those little subtleties that make Ellie and Dina's relationship stronger and come off as more authentic.

I wanted to see really small interactions. The little intricacies that make relationships (especially newer romantic relationships) feel realistic. A little pull on Dinas hand when they escaped the WLF to reassure Ellie. Ellie leaning into Dina after her panic attack in the barn. Gentle kiss goodbye when Ellie woke Dina up and asked her to lock the door.
I also didnt say I wanted them to have a full on fight over Ellies jealousy. I definitely didn't say they shouldve had that argument AFTER she came back from killing Nora. I said they should have had an argument BEFORE she left because Ellie was being reckless. Storming off without Jesse to back her up because she was running from her feelings. I thought the scene when she came back to the theater was amazing. Probably one of my favorite scenes of the game because it was intimate without needing words.
I wanted them to have more dialogue the morning after Dina told Ellie she was pregnant. Dina had also just found out Ellie is actually immune on top of it. A simple "last night was stupid" felt like a missed opportunity to build a bit of relationship to me 🤷♀️ the more the player is invested in their relationship the stronger the reaction to Abbys attack and the betrayal when Ellie leaves the farm. I just feel like they couldve cut 5 minutes of the (by the end of this 20+ hour game, repetitive) enemy fighting for some dialogue scenes
you really think they overhyped it? did you play the first one? this is primarily joel and ellie’s story. yes, even this game. i knew ellie would have a girlfriend but i really didnt think it would play as big a part as it did. i didn’t expect dina to play such an important role, she’s basically the heart of the game. a symbol of love in darkness. we saw their relationship at the farmhouse, abby and owen’s relationship was never like that.
After everything that happened, you see Joel defending Ellie of Seth... it destroyed me. Seeing him again standing up for her...

I think it would have made more sense if Ellie was on a quest to save someone, like going after Tommy to save him from dying on his path of revenge.

That was one of the best 2 hour videos I've ever seen. Love, Loyalty, having each others back, the quirks, the smart remarks, the drive, the drama, the hurt, the freaking spirit of Elli and Dina's relationship. Such a powerful game. This game really showed a genuine relationship of two people with flaws and heart. Outstanding.

Pain is a gift though because it gives you the strength to navigate the treacherous waters of life. Stop looking at what this has cost Ellie (It cost a lot, I know) and look at what she gained:

Has perspective on the cycle of pain and hate that permeates her world
And has gained strength in the trials she faced in coming to terms with Joel's death and showing Abby mercy

You know what game is a tragedy. TLOU 1, the whole world is going to be subjected to this pain because of an act of love that Joel a man who closed himself to a world that he felt never gave a shit about him. He became part of the problem killing everyone in his path shattering who knows how many lives. Abby was just one of his victims. The game is a out a tragedy blooming from an act of love.
TLOU 2 is a triumph based off the foundations of sacrifice. Joel, Jessie, Owen, Mel, her unborn baby and the rest of Abby's friends, two of Ellie's fingers, Joel's gift of guitar-playing, a lot of trauma and yes Dina and JJ. It won't be for nothing.

A couple of things I noticed from my playthrough and re-watching cutscenes; Ellie isn't wearing Dina's bracelet when they're both at the farm and when Ellie goes to California, although Ellie is wearing the bracelet when she returns to the farm house which is interesting.
Also the record she moves off the guitar case is the same record she plays in the first farm scene and also the same album that plays when they have the dance and the kiss back in Jackson, not too sure what to think of that to be honest.
My view is that:
Ellie missed Dina and JJ, hence the sudden wearing of the bracelet and Dina placed the record on top of the guitar case to remind a returning Ellie about their relationship.
OR
She's already met up with Dina before hand and went back to the house to play Joel's song one last time.
Another thing I thought about is that the farm house may be empty but that doesn't necessarily mean Dina has left Ellie, imagine trying to run a household, manage crops, tend to the sheep, hunt for food and look after JJ. That's too much for a single mother to do, she might've just left to go back to Jackson because it was less pressure.
I might be reading too much into this to be honest but they're my thoughts on the ending and I really hope its one of the reasons as proposed above because the ending emotionally broke me for a couple days after I finished it.
Honestly I wish Tommy should have just hugged and kissed ellie in the forehead while feeling disappointed but tell her that its okay and she doesn't have to do this anymore and tells her to be happy with Dina since that's what Joel would have wanted,Effectively Convincing her to stop pursuing Abby.
and the next final chapter or Epilogue,We finally get to play as Tommy himself with an Eye patch and fueled by rage,vengeance and sorrow,hunting Abby....When you think about it,Its quite depressingly poetic..Game's Prologue Starts off as Joel and End with an Epilogues as Tommy.
During the final confrontation and after beating and Crippling Abby to pulp,Just when He was about to kill Abby...he stops for a moment and He gives out a speech about how him and Joel Rescued her from a brink of her death that day and she repayed it by brutally tortured and murdering Joel infront of him and tell her the reason why Joel killed his father in the first place..its because He was getting in his way and was about to kill his adopted daughter,Ellie.He gave every rightful excuses to point out that he didn't mean to kill him...Unlike You.then he points his pistol to her face,Abby begs for forgiveness and says she was sorry for killing joel and tells him that she will never cross paths with him or ellie only to him finish the conversation with "No...You'd just come after us." and Ultimately finishing her off in the end.
Time moves on,Tommy comes back to visit ellie again...Eliie noticed him and is finally happy to see tommy again.Both started to have a friendly chat,Ellie joked about Tommy's Eye patch as if he is gonna be a pirate or something everyone laugh and then few hours later,They both started to have a personal chat alone,Tommy took his time talking about how she is hold up and everything but finally told her in the end "I did it".Without any words or explanations..Ellie understands and she picked up the guitar and started to play the same song Joel played of at the beginning of the game....Roll credits.

That's one hell of an ending, would've loved to play that. I guess we'll have to wait for a DLC or something for some closure on the ending we got.
Hopefully well even get another part about Ellie and Tommy, I hope they don't shy away from finishing this story with a better ending. Hopefully in the next couple years we'll have a part 3 with something close to this 😁

2:14:46 Dina knew ever all along that with Ellie's bond to Joel, she'll hold on to that revenge and can leave her any time. 2:14:46 is like Dina giving Ellie once last chance to be with her, before moving on to separate ways. That face hurts me.

Idk but from 1:31:54 to 1:47:05, that chunks has always given me chills from Dina seeing she is immune, them getting real story elements on the map, to Dina being pregnant to Ellie coming back in a traumatized state & saying “I don’t want to lose you” (if ykyk) But this is amazing how you put everything together like this! It’s the movie I never knew I needed. Awesome 👏

Is very important how these characters was developted. I know that some people don't think like that, but is exceptional how the producers made a female protagonist on this incredible history. I totally want to thank these guys, cuz man! I always liked the game universe and never felt representavity in any game. I'ma lesbian woaman, and i'm very greatful and pround of this game. Is very painfull how Ellie leaves Dina and after she come, and Dina's gone. But, like I read, the producers want that the history was thrutly like our lifes. Well, they made right. Congrats!

@@embraceropemaxxingropeistheway Don't feel empty homie. This is a triumph for Ellie in a strange way. This pain will forge her into someone strong enough to handle the trials ahead. Last of Us 2 is about Ellie learning a valuable lesson through hatred and in a weird way, this is a triumph, because I guarantee you she will grow from this. She was facing herself the whole time not Abby and in the end she won when she let her go and ended the cycle of violence that did nobody any good. Don't despair, it's not over yet.
Last of Us 1 is a straight up tragedy. It's the story of a broken man, out of love and out of spite for a world that only took from him steals that world's chance to bounce back, damning the world. Look at it through any other perspective but Joel's and it's hard to debate that, but it's a touching story because we only see it from Joel's perspective. That's why having us play as Abbie and beating the ever-loving shit out of a character we thought was the protagonist is this game's way of showing us Joel's error. this world is bigger than one person and now Ellie has that perspective and is stronger for it. She can make her life matter in some smaller way.
She can't be with Dina, she can't give her life for some magic cure, she probably won't ever be as whole as she was when she started this sordid mess, but she can still make her life matter in some other smaller way because it's the WHOLE world is hurting not just her and that's something neither Joel, Tommy nor Abby really understood.

Ellie and Dina has to be one of my favorite love stories. What they went through together made me love this game so much. I love Abby’s character as well. This whole game is phenomenal and is 10/10. Best game ever

THANK YOU!!!! I LOVED their relationship so much but had serious issues with the rest of the game, its nice to be able to come back and watch just the scenes with them without having to replay the game or skim through full non commentary videos of the game

Okay hear me out. Here's my theory of Ellie and Dina's ending:
Ellie leaves to finish her mission. Dina and JJ stay at the farm. A couple weeks go by, Dina get's paranoid and worried. She packs everything and leaves with JJ. They go to Jackson to wait for Ellie. (side note: if you notice that when Ellie was at Santa Barbra she wasn't wearing Dina's bracelet, keep that in mind) Ellie finishes her mission and goes back to Jackson. She reunites with Dina and JJ. Dina's gives her bracelet back to Ellie and tells her to go back to the farm and get Joe's guitar. After the scene when Ellie tries to play the guitar she can't bc of her fingers, this shows us shows us that she can't connect with Joel anymore bc the guitar was the only thing left that Ellie had of Joe. This showed us that Ellie left Joe's selfishness and legacy by leaving the guitar at the farm. Ellie heads back to Jackson and lives happily with Dina and JJ.
p.s this is not accurate this is just my theory :)
p.s also sadly idk if Dina forgave Ellie for leaving her but atleast Dina gave Ellie her bracelet so ig thats a good sign :)
Yeah... when I saw her fingers I died. This whole revenge shit was, my god... and then they cut off Ellie’s two fingers. Felt good that Ellie realised after returning that abandoning Dina wasn’t worth it, even if she got closure, it was at the cost of losing her fingers. It’s a lose/lose/lose situation. She lost Dina, Abby lives on, she lost her fingers and now she can’t properly reminisce Joel. And if she reunites with Dina I can’t imagine how traumatised and angry Dina would feel regarding what had happened...I don’t know.. the message of this game, I don’t think there’s a message, it’s all just a big compost of destructive human behaviour.
What happened to Dina my theory is that Dina left because she couldn’t take Ellie being gone or someone came and killed Dina took the baby and took all the stuff to make it look like Dina left but In my head I like to think Dina and Ellie are living happy together
