Greetings, Blue! Thanks for posting! I do not have the other disk. Any chance you can get me a copy of it? I do have some disks Ade Cook made for the boys.
@@jaggass HI - I did not program this. It was done from master tapes to prepare for a Pet Shp Boys world tour that never happened. It was programmed in 1986 I think.
@@frankct8750 It'd be an interesting project for someone to take the audio from that video and layer it onto this one. Or if you could somehow meet in real life and bring your Fairlights with you.
Amazing to have an 8" disk that still reads. Have seen / were you involved in the analogue solutions recreation of the OGWT performance? Somehow they managed to collect together the appropriate instruments. I think they had one original disk and one (for the other CMI) that they recreated by some means. th-cam.com/video/vSNe3C9n23o/w-d-xo.html
And what's so bad about that? Especially when you can still make such good tunes? And for example in the case of Kate Bush, when your command of your own voice is as good if not better than your command of a CMI?
So COMPOSERS who COMPOSE MUSIC, using samplers, would be able to know sod all about music then? You clearly know nothing about this subject. I suppose synthesisers 'play themselves' do they? (rolls eyes)
This is awesome stuff & tallent.
Yes this is the second CMI parts, do you have the other sequence disk? This are the sequences I created for live TV performances...

How long did it take you to program it all?

When using samplers you're more of a programmer than a musician.
when talking on the internet without actually speaking you can still shut up
And when using a computer you're more of a fucking idiot.

So if I'm using a Mellotron, I'm I more of a DJ than a musician?
