Hi there ho there hey there bud (sorry, im a US citizen not Canadian) It’s exactly what a blue collar worker wants. Competition-free passtime that feels like a call of duty match without the hardcore gamer words.
@@ocoolwow You could say that of ANY single player games. I must have sunk thousands of hours in single player games just because I liked them, Hell I must have spent at least 3k hours playing Stalker: Anomaly alone, I just enjoy the game. Do you just stop talking to people until you hit level 45 in the CBT game, like, what's your point?
@@Isaacstation reading comprehension is important: "I can finally learn the maps *while progressing* ". Offline raids let you explore, but you don't progress with EXP and loot.
I've always lightly messed with tarkov over the years, not going beyond level 20 usually, first time i ever saw Tagilla was last week, STOMPING down the office hallway of factory, i didnt realize it was him until he closed half the distance and i mag dumped 80% so i bail until and run almost to med tents, and kinda peek back over up at the office hall stairs, feeling cocky and damn if he didnt appear like an evil genie and lazer beam me down in the blink of an eye lol
@@tommyscars7966 that sucks for Questing. The spawnrate for the Goons on Customs sucks hard, because they push you over the hole map. The Boss Spawnrate need to be nerfed a little bit.
@@min0tauerI think normal boss spawn rate is alright maybe a little less. However the Goons is an exception because of how many maps they’re on, how difficult they can be especially for lower level players, and they move across the entire map where as the other bosses you can learn where they spawn and areas to maybe avoid/be cautious.
The fact that I can reset my wipe when I want to, as well as not wipe it, is amazing. I have had EFT for multiple wipes but never went into Labs. Now I've played Labs a ton. And have learned the map better and will be ready for next wipe. Once wipe happens, doubt I'll be on PvE much but late wipe sucks so it's fun to be able to play my favorite game whenever I want.
@michealnelsonauthor yeah bro and tarkov has 14 million downloads. we both know the actual percentage of people who stay is extremely low. I bought the standard edition on sale, but it's okay. Your skill issue isn't mine or nikitas problem. Keep paying for his game to mod it though! We appreciate the free revenue.
for me it has been a breath of fresh air. i played tarky for years but after alot of the changes and the rat/ bush wookie meta i walked away. this has been a fantastic way for me to not only play solo but play with friends in a way that we can talk and laugh and joke and sprint around, instead of feeling like we have to have clear comms and be 100% locked in from the moment the raid starts.
One of my biggest gripes is the AI PMCs don’t fight bosses and scavs don’t tend to go hunt them out. I feel like this would make PvE align a little better along with PvP
While I don't disagree, this would definitely end up causing complaints of people having trouble getting kill quests done because "AI keeps killing the scavs/bosses/PMCs that I need to kill!". Just a thought.
I totally agree. I shot tagilla at some point, only to be shot by a PMC that was just chilling around the corner even though he had a full visual on Tagilla and vice versa lol, not engaing whatsoever. That kinda ruins the immersion
The Goon spawnrate is honestly kind of infuriating, especially for Shoreline. I think the reason people didn't mind in PVP was their low spawn chance, but when they spawn there 11 raids in a row, it's pretty obvious that their sightlines from there are huge and there's almost no cover for the approach up the hill. Not to mention that since they usually don't fight PMCs (for whatever ungodly reason) you could wind up fighting essentially 3 bosses and 1-4 raiders just to get your signal jammer down. I love higher unique boss spawn rates but I'm getting real sick of World War Goon
Oh people did mind in PvP. You can't go right from the gas station at all if the goons are up. They will spot you before you even get pass the pier buildings. The problem is that Birdeye gets into positions with massive sightlines, and once he sees you its game on from there.
been playing pve for 2 weeks now and the Goons have killed me so many times. Early game they are on the main maps you need, woods, customs, and shoreline and they seem to be on which ever map I need 90% of the time and have been on a map I changed to when I was just killed by them on another. Super annoying. I have killed them all once at least then next raid next day birdeye was in a part of customs I have never seen them before out for revenge lol
PVE brought me back to EFT after a long time not playing this game... I guess round about a year. It is so much fun, everything i ever wanted from this game. I am an casual gamer, because i have a family, a job, friends and a lot of responsibilties in life. So i play it like 15 hrs a week (including weekends) and i was not able to keep up with all the "chads", younger people (reflexes) and of course the cheaters are a plague. Really happy they added this mode and for 25 € a fair prize!
I've been playing tarkov every wipe for about 20-30 hours since 2018. I just get bored and discouraged because im terrible at it (almost never got past level 20) and dont have the time or desires to sink hours into it every day. PvE is the perfect fix, I've already got 2 friends back in that haven't played for 2-3 wipes.
PvE brought myself and two friends back to Tarkov. It's been a really enjoyable experience so far, and because we aren't super experienced, we find the AI a challenge. That may change over time, but the best part is playing alongside friends and getting to learn Tarkov in ways we previously didn't have the time to.
Another thing I havent heard many people mention that perhaps is just a me thing, i love how I can actaully play the game in a much more tactical manner and be far more immersed without feeling the need to watch youtube videos on how to exploit the movement system to run around like its CoD or else be completelydisadvantaged. I can play it like Im playing Ghost Recon from back in the day. Which is exactly what I wanted from Tarkov when i purchased it way back in 2017. This style of gameplay will get you killed in PvP and mocked ruthlessly on reddit.
One of my favorite parts of the game is the weapon customization and variation, it feels good to not feel like i need to run the best guns and ammo all the time
pve tarkov has been great for me, the combo of a full time job and being a shitter at regular tarkov makes this way more my speed. plus the no wipe means i’ll be able to reach levels/quests/gear i’ve never been able to before
As someone who very much enjoys the grind, progression and questing in Tarkov but is not a crack for PVP i absolutely love this. I full stopped playing Tarkov all together but im considering to start again on this PVE mode :)
I've been lovign PVE, I work like 40-60 hour weeks in a 4 star scratch kitchen, i don't have the time to do PvP with this career, its really odd n off hours, but I love the gunplay in Tarkov! Once I get a better PC, maybe I'll be less scared of the game, but I love the amount of control I have, and PVE just lets me get to progress through, so I can at least have SOME fun lol
As a filthy casual, in the 5 years I've owned the game, I've only hit lvl 15 one time. That is till pve dropped. Pve is amazing. I've at least doubled my total hours in the game over the last 2 months
I’m right beside you on that, I’ve owned Tarkov since early 2019 and I hit level 24 once, I was terrible at mnk but now that I have PvE I’m getting better at clicking heads because I’m not paranoid and scared shitless to play the game. I just hit level 51 and I’ve owned it since the day after release, now I’m going for Kappa which I never would have expected in PvP. People should be able to play as it suits them because everyone has a life, some just participate in it more. Love your content @Pestily been watching you almost as long as I’ve played Tarkov ❤️
I have owned EFT since 2017 and I am about to get Kappa for the first time lol. I usually lose interest in Tarkov after about the 3rd month and move on to playing other things. I am still very much enthralled right now. Doing quests I didn't even know existed.
Real honest opinion. If BSG just gave over the PvE side to the SPT crew, and allowed them to handle that but now with official capacity we would all benefit from that. You already have a side of people that are capable of making the proper changes to make the PvE fun and fair, and already have mod support involved. They do it for free, give them a little money and and let them do their thing.
@@pokemasterhamertime77 Never claimed to be one. I like the show but that is as far as it goes. The PFP I keep because I find it amusing to see people get annoyed over it, like the other person. This has nothing to do with looking like the better person.
I was burned out from Tarkov and very frustrated. I stopped since “the wiggle that changed Tarkov” I started a few days ago PVE and I am so much enjoying it. Give it a try. It’s very good.
So I played about 30 hours of PVE so far I think. And honestly, while the progression and map learning is great, at some point it becomes... same old same old I guess? I found myself getting back to PVP pre wipe and just get rid of the gear fear lol. But yeah, I will probably come back to PVE when the wipe has outsped me as you said, and then just take it easy. And honestly, maybe PVE is made to be played hardcore. It gets rid of the repetition I think. Only gripe I had with PVE so far is the low raid timers. If you stand your ground on a scav assault theres no way you can loot all of them and extract in time. Looting and exploring is a big part of this game, and with the reduced timers there is just less of that and more bullet wasting on scavs.
Thanks mate! This makes the game perfect for casual players like me, that want to play, but almost never have the opportunity to play resanoble with highend gear. I feel like i would have a lot of fun later on in the game. Without having to worry that it wipes. Acctually beeing able to use great gear with a clear benifit, without ever doubting that it's gear fear or i'm thinking i'm to under leveled in my character skills etc. , is a really great addition to the game. I think a lot of guys that also can't play much have the same problem. Personally i accumulated 2000+ hours, but it just doesn't matter when your skill fades over time and experience just doesn't cut it. Never getting to use late game stuff for good and just wanting to run some nice shit whilst having fun shouldn't be to much to ask for (well atleast outside of offline gameplay xD). And now it is'nt! Playing early wipe for a few day's straight when having time off is fun but every wipe over and over just doesn't get you far. I'm not a great player and may never be one, but not having to worry about those who are, in each and every raid, is a great thing, when playing from time to time! ;)
I made the same point to my buddies that it reminds me of Terrorist Hunt game mode from the old Rainbos Six games (back before they completely destroyed the Tom Clancy name) as well as the original Ghost Recon. Which suits me just fine. I miss those games.
As someone who has always asked for a non-wiped version, akin to Path of Exile's standard league, I'm very excited by this. Been playing a bit, up to level 13 so far, bout to get interesting..
PVE is what convinced me to try it. been wanting to for a while but being new to mnk and the nature of the game in pvp seemed so daunting. loving it so far and will eventually make my way to pvp. Love your vids and your map guides are super helpful. thank you.
The game is extremely daunting and almost impossible to get into Without an already experienced friend... but the wipes are what made me drop it I don't have time or find joy in doing the same stuff over and over again and losing all progress
@Scavenger666 Lmao I started 3 wipes ago with a duo we both had no idea what was going on, one of our first maps we went on was Woods, and you can guess how that turned out
I havent played tarkov in probably 2 years. This may bring me back. I'm a filthy casual and don't get a lot of play time. I was always so far behind the 8 ball it was almost pointless even loading the game up lol. But I think this is a great answer for that.
I really like it. I have a friend who is a tarkov addict and he always wants me to play with him. I'm terrible in pvp (every game) and was frustrated after like 2 or 3 rounds because of the hardcore gameplay + sweaters and cheaters. Now I can finally have fun in the game too and my addict friend also likes it more than pvp.
I personally don't like the goons spawning so much. it gets annoying particularly when you get all the light house quest. its annoying to try to clear rogues when you have to clear the goons first because otherwise they will just sneak up on you and shoot you in the back. I don't mind them having a higher spawn rate but I think its way too high.
this is everything anyone needs to know about when starting to play PVE, and you're so right about the goons, they probably killed me 70% of the time on woods until I learned where they were at lol, but thank you for the video!
funny you say that as they killed me in 7 raids on customs then on the one woods raid I did after the streak of dying to them they spawned behind me on woods and after a long sprint for my life I got somewhere I felt comfortable fighting in and killed them lol, honestly the fight reminded me of MGS3 with "The End" as Birdeye hid up in the woods up the hill after him and I swapped sides from me killing Knight and Big Pipe, Birdeye finally decided to move up on me which is when I used Knights gun to kill him
I love pve. The furthest ive ever gotten in the normal game is around lvl 30-ish. Devs definitely need to code better pmc AI. They should spawn in normal pmc spawns and roam around the map, hitting hotspot areas and roaming to extract late into the raid. They just dick around in one spot its really whack. They should also engage each other.
My theroy on why they are less aggro to each other is so that yiu can actually complete kill focused requirements. People would be so pissed if every raid was just filull of dead bodies 15 minutes into the match because they all killed each other. Bmand if they made it to where they shot at each other but couldn't kill each other, people would complain about how wonky that is. So at least this way we can get our kills done while complaining about them not shooting at each other.
@@ZeeroDubs yea thats a good point. Pmcs also sometimes fool me into thinking theyre scavs since sometimes they dont wear helmets half the time and act so dumb. I scav into interchange all the time and often have some pmcs stare directly at me and letting me kill them, especially if theres other scavs around. They tend to create scav killing fields in interchange.
Btw, single player tarkov (SPT) has mods that do exactly this and it's totally free - but you have to own the game itself. There's no risk of getting banned either.
@@Theorchero to add onto this, there's a mod that makes the pmc bots do tasks in raid. even stuff like planting markers, hiding items, or fixing the power boxes on factory
Seriously enjoying PVE. My buddies and I just have fun. Eft pvp was fun but got old quick. I find in pve we take more chances and just have fun doing some dumb stuff. This brought life back to a game that i stopped playing
Watching this video is actually making me excited to play tarkov again after not playing it for about 2 years, I love the game and its complex mechanics but I've always felt so overwhelmed when I have to deal with the mechanics aswell as not dying by sweatlords and cheaters all the time. Great release by BSG imo
Love the idea, i absolutely suck at pvp fights, so i love the idea of chilling in the game, doing tasks ive never done before because they are on maps that i dont know weĺl, or are on reserve where every extract is camped. Lol Two things I will miss is the thrill of hiding from folk or sneaking past them to extract with a quest item, and getting crispy snipes across the map.
I just started playing it again and got to say I find it kind of interesting I was not expecting it, and I have been improving, however still learning to the new maps for me though.
I had stopped playing Tarkov in late 2020 since the cheater problem was really out of hand and i just lost interest in the game. 20euros for the game for a cheater free lobby ? And i'm back. Finally a useful addition that actually will make me have more time to play and have fun. Thank you for the instructions, on my way to not sleep tonight.
For a beginner that loves the game and really want to learn the game, this is perfect. I'm going to play it for sure. And then maybe in about a year i go back to pvp.
And for the Streets map Id imagine it runs better in PVE mode because its not trying to support the player population for the map and only needs to focus on one or so. So that is going to give you the better frames. Another reason why pve mode should be available to everyone, some people are not able to play streets at all due to the optimization problems.
You can bring scavs to coop extract super easy. Bring in a green flare, shoot the flare above a scav, tell him to follow you (to the extract), profit……
Been playing modded tarkov instead of pve and it's great. I put a ton of hours into pvp and went balls to the wall chad mode for a long time. It's nice to just chill
on my second wipe i hit max traders after a month and max bitcoin farm after 6 weeks. PVE feels a bit more fun to play because i don't feel pressured i dig it.
i actually am really enjoying pve. its a nice space to try new things, new builds, kind of just take advantage of the systems tarkov has in place and experiment with them. using guns i normally wouldnt, taking paths i normally wouldnt. having player to player flea market active is pretty genius too, idk i think its fun but not a replacement for pvp.
7:33 People have complained about getting the goons 100% of their raids. But when I goon hunt to farm some good ammo or try to actually challenge myself with weird kits, I get them the normal 30% of the time, if even that much. It's still luck based, and it seems (from my perspective with 1300+ PvE raids) that the spawn rates are normal
I am personally really enjoying PVE after writing the game off probably a year or two ago. I’m really happy with the new maps I’ve never played and I actually feel like I’m progressing really quickly which is probably about 5x as fast as the regular game. I do think that for the game to consistently be fun however that they need to do an AI overhaul especially with PMCs and Scavs not fighting, enemies literally spawning right in front of you, maps like woods and shoreline being relatively safe compared to the other maps and overall more variance to where you will get engaged in combat. Other stuff like GP coins and long range sniping quests really need reworks as it seems that nothing really spawns in until you get close which can really screw an entire squad sometimes. Overall tho I’m really enjoying it and playing against AI makes ammo not matter quite as much (until you run into Killa 5 times in a row)
People have been complaining about streets performance since its release. It will never be just you. The whole game is poorly optimized so if you experience terrible performance somewhere chances are it not just a you thing.
The only way I played Tarkov and had fun was knowing I am a casual and not bother with the hideout or tasks. I just rolled out with pocket full of 7.62x54 and a mosin or a shotgun, sometimes with a minimalist setup/used gear I found and did SCAV runs to get money/food/meds. I had a 12.5% survival rate at my height. Never passed level 30, got past lvl 15 two times. I am had very much enjoyed arena mode, and may come back to see this PVE mode, would be much better. PVP - I would try it again if, there is player rating system (new, low, medium, high, cheaters) so you are not matched with sweats who clean the raid, or roll in geared groups and then hackers.
the one thing keeping me away from pve was that i thought it would be too easy, somehow its more stressful than the pvp version of the game. i find it really easy to get overwhelmed by scavs as a solo but its a lot of fun with friends
I just got back into tarkov and when i played the pve I wasn't aware about the mock pmcs. When i came across one it freaked me out because of how realistic its movement was. I almost got clapped up.
I've been playing EFT since 2017 but started playing SPT with mods about a year ago. I have yet to try EFT PVE. I laugh now because we had been asking BSG since 2018 or so for an off-line version of the game. I'm sticking with SPT until PVE catches up. Right now SPT modded is the best version of EFT for me. It's not exactly casual. Though you could mod it to be. The mods with better bot AI are amazing.
Thanks Pest, been getting absolutely wrecked by the AI but enjoying the opportunity to develop my game sense and awareness. Headed over to check out the PVE series now!
Two things I have issues with in pve tarkov are, why are there so many scavs per raid? I just did a streets raid and almost got 60 kills. Just to do 2 quests. I had to constantly run for my life, use 2 different scav/pmc weapons, and ended up not being able to do a third quest due to not enough time. My second thing is, I do not get scav rep when killing pmc players in scav runs, even when they have killed multiple scavs themselves. My scav rep is in the negatives because my only income is through car extracts and scav extracts. which both are not long term usable (car extract gives less and less rep each time per map).
I reccomend spt for people who like Pve I loved PVE and SPT is way harder including boss AI even on normal settings and its so much fun + you can play with friends with fika + Qol mods etc. Ofc first have the game bought if i recall there is even a check to make sure you arent a pirate
I quit playing tarkov awhile back. I was never a particularly good player. Not to mention getting topped by cheaters whenever I brought in good gear was always very irritating. I tried SPT, and absolutely loved it, however as I began to further mod it, I ended up breaking the game, and wasn’t sure how to fix it. I just shelved the game completely. Now that BSG has supported PVE, I’ve gotten back into it. It’s challenging, at times frustrating, but I never feel like I got cheated. It’s also helped me improve my skills over time. I’m much more accurate than I once was, and have adapted to the volume of scav spawns. My only real gripe so far is the goons. They spawn too often, and particularly early on they make quests unnecessarily difficult. You really need to cheese them to fight them normally, and when you only have garbage ammo, it becomes next to impossible. Overall, it’s returned a game to me that I genuinely loved, but due to a combination of my mediocrity, 3 man sweatlords, and cheaters, I had given up on.
they should either allow you to just wipe quest progression but keep unlocks and trader levels and hideout - or a prestige mode where you can select a trader to keep leveled per prestige
In my level 26 pve experience, it feels like boss spawn rates are at 90 percent, and the bosses have been shooting scavs for me ass well. I instantly know if gluhar is on the map by the amount of gunfire and the pile of dead scavs around him.
I was a filthy casual since 2017 putting in about 300 hours. Once pve came out, I have put in about 200 hours. It's way better than pvp for me. There's plenty to improve (boss spawn rates, scav horde defense, PMC AI just humping in a corner somewhere) but it's definitely much better than pvp for me.
I have about 2500 hours in and stopped playing after the new Unheard edition was announced. The BS, cheaters, and the overall gameplay loop after 6-7 wipes with that turned me away but this might bring me back. It looks very promising
i go home from work. on my regular job want to play tarkov without sweating so pve is right fit for me! i salute you pvpers tho. i just cant do it haha
I stopped playing EFT because of cheating, stress and time. I have tried SP before, but I wanted it to be official. Native PvE has brought me back to this awesome game and I hope BSG focuses more on it in the future! This is the tarkov I always wanted.
Bosses have been around 80%+ for me in PvE so far in 40ish raids (scav and pmc). I either die to Killa (Interchange is my main), Reshala/guards or I at least hear Killa's gun going off.
The spawn rate of scavs is enormous on most maps for seemingly no reason. On smaller maps, the moment one shouts at you, that's it. You've alerted the horde. Ground zero is especially bad for it. I average one scav kill per minute after the first one is downed. They also seem to just 'know' where you are at all times. I could be creeping 200 meters away from my last kill, and I'll still have scavs just path their way to me.
this makes me feel better. I'm a brand new bambi timmy and i've been trying to learn the game on PVE and focusing on learning one map at a time, but I'm getting wrecked on GZ
@OOspazOO The AI in PvE just seem "turned up" over PvP. I have a feeling BSG knows the current iteration of PMC AI is hot garbage and increased scav spawn rate to make the map feel 'more alive'. As of right now, PMCs seem to take the same paths every raid and stay in consistent spots every time. SPT with SAIN mod is a far more genuine PvE experience at the moment. I want BSG unironically rip off SAIN, because that mod sorted the issue out long ago.
I unironically really like PVE. I can play the game, actually get some loot before it gets rushed, and I don't have to worry about "knowers" and the opponents ping. The raiders are still BS enough to keep it high risk
Boss spawns are 100% higher in my experience, I had the goons spawn 4 times in a row for me going customs woods and two more customs additionally I ran about 15 factory raids for bolt action and pistol kills and every raid the boss spawned except maybe two when I died early to the pmc AI army
thanks for info i have owned EFT for ages but never had time to play it enough to progress far b4 wipes due to RL so kinda gave up but now i think the extra $20USD is worth it i dont have to worry about wipes of OP chads or cheaters i can go at my own pace
The only thing that I don't know now is, what about scav runs, are they still here and is if so, do the AI PMC hunt the player scavs down? Otherwise it seems like every scav run will be survived.
There are acid green flares that let the scavs not shoot and follow u to the scav pmc extracts as long as its in the 150m radius of the flare and they dont get aggro again
I also found the PMCs and scavs hunt you as a pmc... I spent an entire raid in old gas on customs and they all swarmed me but it ruined my experience watched scavs and pmcs working together to try and kill me rather than kill eachother..
Streets is and has been unplayable for weeks for my buddies and I. The lag has gotten us killed so often that we just don’t run that map and have abandoned that line. It sucks but is better dying to lag
from what ive seen playing it for a few hours its just a version of tarkov for much more casual players that dont care for PVP. Its nice honestly, its like Practice Mode on PVP Tarkov
Watching this video has made me want to jump back into EFT. Not having the time to be able to learn the maps properly let alone compete with those that do made it rather difficult to enjoy the game. Thank you for your love for the game mate... while I've not played in quite some time I always keep upto date with your videos 🫵🤘
DISCLAIMER: PVE Tarkov runs locally off your machine meaning if you don't have a really beefy PC the game runs a lot worse than the live version. I have a 5800x CPU 3070 GPU and 32GB ram and sit around 40-60 frames on ground zero. It is not optimized at all and really takes away from the experience. I still feel that the single player Tarkov mod is much further along than what BSG had put out. I would play that for now until BSG actually decides to release something that is working for everyone.
The pve loot issue was the ground item spawn chance was very high. Black card room alone was around 30 stems each raid. It was amazing for learning loot spots.
Ran a customs yesterday and ended up extracting with 334 7.62 BP ammo that i unloaded from pmc and rashalla guard mags. I agree heavily on the goons being around more often than not. At first i was scared of them but after being killed so many times i am filled with a fiery rage and always want to kill them now
The Goons and bosses in general are kind of insane at the moment. Especially the spawn rates and spotting distances... any map with a goon spawn is nearly impossible to survive.
BSG still have so much to learn from SPT and the mods available there. SPT still runs so much better and once modded the AI is so superior that I don't imaging BSG will catch up for quite some time. My FPS in SPT is so much better too (possibly due to the graphics mod)

It’s exactly what a blue collar worker wants.
Competition-free passtime that feels like a call of duty match without the hardcore gamer words.
Dude, I can finally learn the maps while progressing, without having the constant threat of other players looming over me, it's great
But why? You are progressing to nothing to show off to noone.
@@ocoolwow You could say that of ANY single player games.
I must have sunk thousands of hours in single player games just because I liked them, Hell I must have spent at least 3k hours playing Stalker: Anomaly alone, I just enjoy the game.
Do you show off your in game progress that often to people that it becomes a problem to you?
What happens when it wipes?
Do you just stop talking to people until you hit level 45 in the CBT game, like, what's your point?
You never did offline raids..?
@@Isaacstation reading comprehension is important: "I can finally learn the maps *while progressing* ".
Offline raids let you explore, but you don't progress with EXP and loot.
@@ocoolwow lmao its a video game what is there truly to show off in general
Tagilla feels like 80 - 100% spawn right now.
Good! You're doing well!
Almost all bosses on PvE have a massive spawn rate.
That's why we Love SPT!
@michealnelsonauthor who's we? SPT is on life support. 95% of people playing PvE do so on the official tarkov launcher lmao.
@@dankbonkripper2845 lol. The last version of SPT had 2 million downloads.
@@dankbonkripper2845 lol. The last version of SPT had 2 million downloads. But you cope at full price, Nikita Simps, lol.
PMCs dont' seem to fight each other, at least they seemed like they acted as a squad each time (haven't played much, plus I am terrible at tarkov).
PMC AI is carbon copy from raiders. They act exactly the same
spt fix this 😎
The Goon spawnrate is honestly kind of infuriating, especially for Shoreline.
I really think they should rename th Goons to American Express. This mfers are everywhere I want to be.
Oh people did mind in PvP. You can't go right from the gas station at all if the goons are up. They will spot you before you even get pass the pier buildings.
The problem is that Birdeye gets into positions with massive sightlines, and once he sees you its game on from there.
Play SPT. You can alter all spawn rates, mod in improved sights, etc. It's extremely customizable.
Use the no PMC/boss exploit
been playing pve for 2 weeks now and the Goons have killed me so many times.
Been waiting for this pve mode to play with my brother for some time now, absolutely love it. Less stressful and can just have a good time on Tarkov.
This style of gameplay will get you killed in PvP and mocked ruthlessly on reddit.
tell em
haha I hate the META disease.
they need to push momentum way up and remove the jump button now that mantles are in the game, and fix the fucking desync
This is a really good addition. It just needs to be refined.
Try SPT with Fika if you have friends. Its a 10x better experience in every way possible, AI, UI fixes, Graphics, a crap ton of possibilities.
Lmfao
I have owned EFT since 2017 and I am about to get Kappa for the first time lol. I usually lose interest in Tarkov after about the 3rd month and move on to playing other things. I am still very much enthralled right now. Doing quests I didn't even know existed.
amen, I probably have 10 times the hours in SPT than in the live version
Real honest opinion. If BSG just gave over the PvE side to the SPT crew, and allowed them to handle that but now with official capacity we would all benefit from that. You already have a side of people that are capable of making the proper changes to make the PvE fun and fair, and already have mod support involved. They do it for free, give them a little money and and let them do their thing.

I was burned out from Tarkov and very frustrated. I stopped since “the wiggle that changed Tarkov”
I started a few days ago PVE and I am so much enjoying it.
I'm not a great player and may never be one, but not having to worry about those who are, in each and every raid, is a great thing, when playing from time to time! ;)
If you have in the past enjoyed Ghost Recons, Rainbow Six Vegas, and Farcrys, then Tarkov pve is for you
I made the same point to my buddies that it reminds me of Terrorist Hunt game mode from the old Rainbos Six games (back before they completely destroyed the Tom Clancy name) as well as the original Ghost Recon.
If you get really good at pvp you'll get insanely addicted to the game
@@lacman6159 I'm already addicted lol

I really like it.
I have a friend who is a tarkov addict and he always wants me to play with him.
I'm terrible in pvp (every game) and was frustrated after like 2 or 3 rounds because of the hardcore gameplay + sweaters and cheaters.
Now I can finally have fun in the game too and my addict friend also likes it more than pvp.
I've only been playing for a few days and I'm not normally a keyboard and mouse player so this is perfect for me
I would've never tried the game if not for PVE mode. Really having a blast, recommend it :D Good video man.
Tbh i'd rather play SPT. More control over what you're doing.
Only upside of this to me is the coop and lack of wipes
When this game first came out I wasn’t so keen on playing the game because of the pvp aspect but now I can finally start trying this game out
I just picked it up yesterday and I'm actually having fun with tarkov again.
just do SPT, you can use loads of mods including oned actually fixing bugs or weird AI behaviour
This. Also GP coins work in SPT!

PMC AI is even worse in SPT. They sit silently in weird places and instantly head/throat you.
@@dmtaboo_truth7052 that's true, but fixable by downloading and configuring SAIN to your liking
I’m loving PVE it’s teaching me the game faster then PVP
I’ve been wanting this video, it’s like you read our minds !
this is everything anyone needs to know about when starting to play PVE, and you're so right about the goons, they probably killed me 70% of the time on woods until I learned where they were at lol, but thank you for the video!
funny you say that as they killed me in 7 raids on customs then on the one woods raid I did after the streak of dying to them they spawned behind me on woods and after a long sprint for my life I got somewhere I felt comfortable fighting in and killed them lol, honestly the fight reminded me of MGS3 with "The End" as Birdeye hid up in the woods up the hill after him and I swapped sides from me killing Knight and Big Pipe, Birdeye finally decided to move up on me which is when I used Knights gun to kill him
Pest TV is back, the legend Narpha. It's a good day. 🤘🤘
@@kernelscout3077 lol yeah

Watching this video is actually making me excited to play tarkov again after not playing it for about 2 years, I love the game and its complex mechanics but I've always felt so overwhelmed when I have to deal with the mechanics aswell as not dying by sweatlords and cheaters all the time. Great release by BSG imo
Love the idea, i absolutely suck at pvp fights, so i love the idea of chilling in the game, doing tasks ive never done before because they are on maps that i dont know weĺl, or are on reserve where every extract is camped. Lol
Two things I will miss is the thrill of hiding from folk or sneaking past them to extract with a quest item, and getting crispy snipes across the map.
I like PVE as I can actually venture into areas that I never have before. In PvP I stick to my routes and sometimes that's not fun
This is the all time best thing to ever happen to tarkov!
Ok, I thought it was just me who had a shit frame rate on streets but its good to know it happens on Pests monster rig
People have been complaining about streets performance since its release. It will never be just you. The whole game is poorly optimized so if you experience terrible performance somewhere chances are it not just a you thing.
I suspect people with a good rig like Pest would be better off with local hosting. BSG should give us the option.
I get 90+fps on 4k, In settings tick the low res streets options, it dims down alot of textures that aren't needed to be high resolution.
co-op was my biggest question thanks for answering it
The only way I played Tarkov and had fun was knowing I am a casual and not bother with the hideout or tasks.
No FiR needed for Fleamarket required! Big thing!
The pmc spawn amount is insane. Ive killed 15+ pmcs on factory in a single raid.
Also, I like how the AI PMCs are named after Sherpas and Ambassadors.
Never got into lightkeeper quests, gonna have a chance to
they should either allow you to just wipe quest progression but keep unlocks and trader levels and hideout - or a prestige mode where you can select a trader to keep leveled per prestige
This is the tarkov I always wanted.
having to kill a squad of 8 PMC's on Factory can be iritating some thimes but it's hella FUN :D
Bosses have been around 80%+ for me in PvE so far in 40ish raids (scav and pmc). I either die to Killa (Interchange is my main), Reshala/guards or I at least hear Killa's gun going off.
PVE have rekindled my love for solo trakov!
Dang, this would have been awesome when I played Tarkov years ago. I have not launched the game since 2022. Moving on, lil late Nikita lmfao.
Reading so many comments and wish they would knew about SPT which is 100x more fun.
I always pve streets it’s fine just download some more ram 👍
One thing I've noticed is boss rates are damn near guaranteed if you group up with someone
PVE brought me back to tarkov. I have 2k hours in pvp but got sick of same old quests over and over, found in raid, and campers/cheaters etc
from what ive seen playing it for a few hours its just a version of tarkov for much more casual players that dont care for PVP.
Love pve! Would love to go back to pvp with my new found knowledge of the game if they solve the hacker problem
I would play that for now until BSG actually decides to release something that is working for everyone.
agree got a i7 10700 and a 2060 6gb and get 60 frames on ground zero normally get 120-140
PVE Tarkov allowed me and my friends to get back into the game and it's actually fun.
