- This is a toyota made Daihatsu Charade with Automatic Transmission. The engine is 1.0 and it is a 5 door vehicle. It can air-conditioning, power steering, power windows and ABS with EPS. It appears to have several toys for a small car.
Currently in Edinburgh, with 32k miles it is a credit to its previous owner, the vehicle is in exceptional conditional in all aspects.
Thanks for the video. It's great seeing it up close and an informative video.
I am considering this car as my first car. Hopefully will past my test in a few weeks!
Highly underrated all over Europe. The Cuore(as it was called in Germany) was small from the outside but great inside. Low at costs. Insurance, inspection, just a few pennies. If you are looking for a reliable car Daihatsu should be your first choice.
Got it brand new back in 2006. Now I'm close to 400.000km somewhere in the next days..what a car..burns zero oil. the only issue i have is finding parts. i had it sitting for 2 weeks cause i couldn't find a cv joint for it.
would Toyota dealership not supply the parts?
How easy are spare parts? I'm thinking especially of an exhaust system? One for sale near me but I'm worried about spares?
I didn't need any parts, but I think they should be easily accessible through toyota dealerships, this car wasn't imported but supplied new for UK so parts should not be a problem as well. I never needed any, but I was under the impression that they can be obtained like any other car.
Thanks for your reply. I have heard and read on line that the exhaust system is a tricky thing to find. They were linked with Toyota? I didn't know that...
Daihatsu was taken over by Toyota in the early 90s, which is why the iconic charades were changed into standard small size cars. They are now supplied by Toyota.
Hello, how much money does the fuel tank take to fill & roughly how many miles do you get per full tank please? Thank you :)
I can't quite recall. But, it was super cheap, £30-35 full tank.
And it was returning a lot of miles, certainly close to or over 300 on a run.
Please bear in mind it takes more fuel than the manual version, nonetheless, it is pretty cheap to run.
In Japan 660 CC is called daihatsu Mira
This is a 1.0 though!
Just found this car for sale on auto trader
