I attended USF from 1970-1972, college of business, and wow has it grown. There was much more green space back then between the buildings. Thanks for the tour.

Thank you for this! I'm starting grad school there in the fall but I didn't get to come visit before I accepted the offer. This is great.

USF campus has changed drastically over the years. Those dorms on the north side of Campus man! When I arrived on campus Fresh Food company was BRAND SPANKING NEW! And the best dining hall hands down!
These Florida campuses have become like resorts! A Publix on campus!? You guys are being spoiled!

It amazes me how some of the older buildings haven't been demolished or renovated!? Like a theater and art buildings.
The University Center the Marshall Center or whatever they call it now was a old, crammed 4 building back in the day. Now it's phenomenal! Connected to it on a north side was originally a smaller event centernter which was demolished.
Btw, whatever happened to the Northwest part of Campus headed towards Walmart and the Moffit Center? It was all open fields.

Originally the architecture school, which I attempted to get into at USF, didn't have its own building it was an independent school. It was located "off campus," across the street or south of magnolia apartments in a small office building. The building in which is located on your video I think was originally like some science building. That's schools location on campus was always an afterthought

omg this is super helpful! I'm an incoming chemistry PhD student coming from illinois and this was really helpful since I probably won't have a lot of pre-visiting time! :))

I’m applying as a senior rn for fall 2020. Do you have any tips to get accepted?

    • @loumartin8851

My son was just accepted for the class of 2024, (he's currently a HS senior as you are), starting in the Summer of 2020. One tip they gave on our tour was to apply for the Summer session. If you check their site ALL students, (unless you transfer in with 60 credit hours), must do a Summer term at some point. Since applying for the Summer is easier to get in than the Fall, that's what the Admissions Officer suggested.
My son did so, and with a recalculated GPA of 3.7 and 1300 SAT, was just accepted last week.
So apply to start in either the Summer or Spring, because they are less competitive than the Fall.
Admissions Officer also said starting in the Summer session as a Freshman is much less hectic than in the Fall. Look up info on their Summer session.
