As for Spanish, it comes easy to us because the Philippines was a Spanish colony for about 300 years. In fact, the country was named after King Philip of Spain.

For native language, do you mean the English or Spanish part? For English, Filipinos speak ENglish relatively better, if not best, in Asia. As for Spanish, it comes easy to us because the Philippines was a Spanish colony for about 300 years. In fact, the country was named after King Philip of Spain.
