I've been seeing your videos from a long time now, and I can definitely say that this was one of the best videos you've ever made. Especially when you were halfway to the mountain top.. that view made my heart pound! Literally.
Together with John with Only In Japan, I feel that you are the most honest and lifelike youtuber ever. I feel educated and amazed at the same time. I feel you talk to me instead of to all. That is pretty nice. Continue with what you are doing. Love from Oslo, Norway. Fantastic videos, including this one!
These off the beaten path videos are exactly what I've been looking for! I want to learn more about the places in Japan tourists don't usually see, and these will really give me an idea of where to go myself.
You honestly have an eye for capturing the essence and beauty of all the locations you visit. The view from the lookout at the top of the mountain must have been amazing.... And judging by your looks, a little scary. ;-)
These are exactly the videos about Japan i was looking for. It's like a documentary but shorter and anyway you give us all the info we need. Thank you for the work and the passion you bring to us whith these videos 😍❤️🌲
internationally ME Your vlog is such a surprise and inspiration for me - thanks a lot :) May I ask the name of the place of that bamboo forrest and what is the easiest way to get there? We want to visit the sand dunes and that bamboo forrest - would you recommend to stay 1 or 2 nights in tottori? Arigato and merry x-mas :)
@@mouselim72 yes i stayed this mai. Had to ask tourism office to translate the bus timetable..there are only few buses..place was amazing and at the time i visited (for 3 hours) i was the only one tourist. So peaceful 😍
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down is beyond me!!! I will visit this area in April/18....my Asian wife and I are looking forward to it!! She lives in Tokyo and wants to go, what a beautiful area!! Reminds us of certain areas in western Canada...thank you!!!!
I like local Japanese people's videos more than foreign people's videos about Japan. The perspective is much better. Hope you don't stop making this videos :)
You have a gift for film making and a soothing and calming voice, this is why your videos are so great.Tottori is a hidden gem of Japan thanks very much for introducing this beautiful place.
Your video's are excellent. I am learning Japanese by myself and talk to Japanese people to learn about their culture as well. Your video's give me a peek into their culture but also show the beautiful scenery and nice places to go to. I want to go on vacation to Japan with my mother and brother one day. Keep doing the good work.
Thank you so much for filming these beautiful traditional areas. You've chose to break trend visiting unpopular but treasury sites in Japan. You will have much more viewers who would appreciate your work and passion about true Japanese traditional culture. Many other Japan tour videos are really garbage and some would keep following and repeatedly making same garbage for sponsors only. Can't you believe more than dozen vloggers would keep going to Japanese 711 and filmed what stuff they could get and eat? Thank you so much for doing such good work.
The great thing that I have thoroughly enjoyed is the way you edit your videos. You keep the focus on the topic matter rather than BE the topic matter. So many TH-camrs use this media to become a star in their own video and waste a lot of time on themselves. You however give the right balance and shoot the images that is important to your topic. Thank you so much! I really enjoy your vids!
I love watching your videos each night, shortly before bed. They are so beautiful and relaxing, and they make me so happy. Thank you for showing your adventures, for providing such interesting and useful information. You always put a smile on my face. ❤
Wow. My jaw literally dropped from your Tottori Video series. It was so amazing; i didnt expect there’s a lot of things you can do and can amaze you in a country side like this. This is my favorite in all of your videos. Keep it up.
It’s so nice to see someone does vlog of Tottori City area. Most people do Sakai Mknato Daisen Yonago. I grew up in Wasaka until 3rd grade and moved to Tottori City. One of our relatives live in Uradome. We used to go there summer time for beach. One time my uncle drove in and brought up sea urchin. Bring back memories. I had to open my photo albums and see old pictures after watching both of Tottori vlog. Thank you for doing this.
Your perspective is one of a kind, and you offer something to us that is very very valuable. I watch your videos not only to learn about a beautiful country, but also to simply relax and enjoy the sights and sounds. I am especially grateful that you are sharing places that are off the beaten path, because I don't think I would ever have learned about this side of Japan. So, my feedback is to keep doing what you are doing, and continue to show us the places that really speak to you, as this place obviously did :)
I just got back from Japan and this is keeping my inspiration alive to come back. it is so wonderful to see you traveling to the places i didn't get to go. i feel like i'm almost there! this is helping me plan my next trip!
I feel like this video spoke to me!! Those buried train tracks and that building in the mountain are like something out of a fantasy/fairy tale!! It is giving me inspiration for my story!!!!

Oh my gosh Angela, what a great video! We are visiting Japan in April for 21 days, and now Tottori will be on our list! Your other videos have also been great, amazing mix of vlogging and great cinematography shots and information. Keep up the good work!
Both. I like how you chat with the locals to learn about the history and visiting cultural places to immerse yourself in the experience. Something I enjoy doing too. :)
Thanks for visiting my home Kurayoshi. This video reminded me of the time when I took the last train tour of Kurayoshi line with my grandma. Though I was born and brought up there, I have spent more than half of my entire life outside Kurayoshi since I entered a university in Tokyo when I was 18 and now I live in Istanbul, Turkey. There is not so much chance for me to go back home, so this video has helped me a lot to realize again how beautiful my home is.
Oh man I keep falling in love with Japan everytime you upload something. Anyway, in case you still remember me, I have started learning Japanese and is now climbing slowly from N5. Hopefully, I'll be able to reach N2 in 1-2 years and work there :)
I came across your video and found out today that it has been very professionally created. The subtitle is very crystal clear. You are pretty a blessed lady👍👍

Hi Angela! I've been a silent fan of yours for quite a while now. I love these off the beaten path series. My husband and I have been to Japan twice now, and watching your videos makes us want to go back to Japan again and again to experience the quieter, less touristy areas.
