Wow! And all done by hand. I'm so inspired to try and take my carvings/whittling to the next step. I appreciate the non-powered tool aspect - I'm not knocking it; it's just I prefer that aspect of carving - and also I'm poor ;) Thank you for such a great job and video.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one that uses that signature/brand for my initials. People in school used to give me a ton of crap for it. Beautiful piece.
@@leshka_woodcarving everyone used to tell me that it looked like an unfinished swastika growing up. To remedy that i started adding a simple set of wings and a halo over it. It is what stemmed my symbol for my artwork and tattooing now.
Very Inspirational. My go-to carving is a CNC, adding to my project list will be CNC version of this and also a hand carved equivalent. ( Better than twiddling thumbs waiting for CNC to complete) and compare them side by side. (I'm just learning hand carving & whittling techniques)
🙏 Namaste Friend 🙏 Receive Greetings from India 🙏🇮🇳. Your wood carving skill is very much respected, and it's natural... I am self-taught wood carver, and your work taught me inspiration 👍 Best wishes to you and your family, and your wood carving.. Regards, Mahesh Mumbai India
Good job, I've been carving for over 50 years and I'm always amazed at how every wood carver develops their own techniques. Walnut is not an easy wood to carve. It will dull knives faster that basswood.
Spectacular....when I see the blade going so close to your fingers, I hold my breath....you seem to be using a very hard type of wood, which makes it easy for accidents to happen.....beautiful work
So appreciative of the silence and birds and focus on art (that's how I make my painting videos initially.....but I wood work too shh) it gives a better focus on your skill I believe, than without all the words. (I have said 'some people only talk just to hear themselves talk' haha) Absolutely beautiful well made eagle! Wow!
Wonderful work. It's amazing how you can carve such a small piece with Mora 120. I am a beginner, I bought some Mora and Two Cherries knives and a set of Narex palm chisels and I've done a few simple works so far. Please, help me with an answer: do you happen to know what's the purpose of the knife Two Cherries 3353?
Detailing on this is incredible. I feel like I've seen so few carvers on TH-cam using such hard wood but the detail you can get it in is amazing. Definitely subbed.
Hello ma'am, I'm from India. I love wooden carving. I used to see your videos . All are awesome. I want to do wooden carving. Kindly suggest me the basic instruments for carving. I have just recovered from cancer. I want to do it to spend my times. Thanks & love from Odisha, India
I am in love with your work, i follow you normally in instragram but watching all the procces is amazing and very calming like ASMR. Thanks for sharing this and hello from México 😘 Pd. Sorry for my inglish i'm not very confident.
Beautiful carving and great video, I work with the harder woods too, doing a lot in Cherry at the moment, it’s harder work but the finish you get is well worth the extra effort!

Love your work... You're pretty damned brave though; to be carving on your leg like that lol
Awesome carving !!! Well done !!! Would you be able to put the pattern on this site so we all can have a go !! Thanks , Pete
I don't use patterns myself, but I'm working on creating a few, I will post them on my Instagram most likely. :)

Ciao Lucia! La tua arte è bellissima. Una domanda per te, come si chiama quello strumento che hai usato per levigare i dettagli dell'intaglio? Grazie
HOW DOES THIS ONLY HAVE LIKE 150ISH LIKES?!

Beautiful carving and great video, I work with the harder woods too, doing a lot in Cherry at the moment, it’s harder work but the finish you get is well worth the extra effort!
How do you strengthen it that it won't break
Nice eagle but you should wear glove to protect
Thanks! I do find that wearing a glove or protection influences my capabilities, so I never use it.. I probably should ;)
😻😻😻
This is what i was waiting for😍
Keep it up😍
Meraviglia
Очень красиво получилось! Из какого дерева был сделан орел?
I think Walnut
No finger protection? This is incredible yet also risky
