Philippines is so Blessed by GOD having many fruits that is why we are so thankful to GOD for everything and we are happy that you enjoy the Philippines.🥰🥰🥰
You can also plant the star apple seeds at your backyard. It will help shield your house during hot season. But it will take years to become a big tree.
I finally realized why it's called star apple. I never use knives. I just use my hands to break it open so I never saw the star-shaped formation of the seeds.
its good now that its summer you can put the starapple at the middle part of refrigerator .When i was a kid i like to put it with milk like avocado yummy.
I think the tree that keeps falling leaves is a Mahogani/Mahogany tree, it keeps falling leaves during hot weather period. Walis Tambo is good for sweeping fallen leaves in your yard.
The PERSIMMON variety in the Philippines is called MABOLO. Try asking for Mabolo in fruit market. The tree is also called Kamagong, and island Camiguin is named after it.
Oh wow...i remember my childhood days when we climb star apple tree (Kaymito) I fell down accidentally it's fun to remember. I love that fruits especially if you blender the fruit meat with shave ice and condensed milk.. Refreshing 🥤🥤🥤thank you for sharing you videos. 😊
The star apple tree is a soft wood tree. Its limbs do break easily, hence, it causes a lot of climbers to fall. And YES, Kaymito with condensed milk and shaved ice is a perfect snack on a hot day. Just make sure not to include the seeds in the blender.🥰

We also have persimmon in other provinces. It's not all round though like the one in the photo. We also have calabash (miracle fruit) and other "unknown" fruits in different regions.
I recall my childhood days and realize we were lucky to have several fruits growing in our backyard. Santol, starapple, duhat, banana, starfruit, 2 types of mangoes, kalamias, calamansi, jackfruit, papaya, and dalandan. Wow! listing all of that made is seem like I lived in a farm but it's our backyard in a small city.
Starapples are seasonal fruit here in the Philippines. It's not available all year round. It will start flowering on the month June. And it can be harvested as fruit by the end of december up to march or april.
For the third time, I'm telling you to try guyabano fruit. The one that is already ripe and ready to eat. By the way, you can.refrigirate most of the fruits in d Phil. More delicious if they are cold.
Aaah MArch is Star apple Season! goood that you have found that fruit delicious! Next fruit on the list should be Soursop / Guyabano, Duhat/Lomboy or Tambis! tambis is hard to buy, rare on the market see on sale!
We had a Kaymito tree in our backyard growing up in Cebu and I loved it. There were different kinds 4:12 of spiders there too and I would collect them and let them fight each other.
Grew up with a star apple tree in our backyard. We kept the ripe ones in the freezer overnight. The next day, we would cut the frozen kaimitos and eat it for snacks--- it was our ice cream in the most natural form.

When planting pineapple....its good to put it inside a glass of water to grow out it's roots then plant it in the soil outside.
Put in the fridge make it cool for a bit time and enjoy it
Also if you plant the crown of the pineapple, it takes longer to grow compared to planting the side of the pineaplle plant.
Yes it will grow and bear fruit.thats good
