Nottingham Forest travel to the Amex Stadium on Sunday to face Brighton in what promises to be a thrilling Premier League clash. Dominguez for me is a better option than Yates in CM/CDM.. he works just as hard, tackles well, and is much better on the ball

Prepared for anything here, in terms of the result. I totally agree with Wolfie with that reason for optimism, in combo with being a Forest fan .Meaning there's always time for depression just around every corner. A draw that keeps both teams unbeaten seems logic, and as a very good result for Forest. Brighton can be harder to beat than Liverpool.
On the other hand, this could be heaven, or this could be hell. If we start with 4-2-3-1 and our wingers flying high on the counter attacks, we can have the game won by half time. Or maybe Brighton will having a ball with our two CM's so Nuno will need to do some changes to get a grip on the game again. Heaven knows, but I'm sure this is gonna be a very entertaining game with lotsa good passing and plenty of chances. MGW a good tip for MOM.

Not starting Elanga after that quality assist sounds like a bad idea. His pace can cause a lot of damage on that left side.
Why change anything if they are all fit? They played on Wednesday so will be good to bring pace on later. Be good to see Sosa get a run out. But... fantastic to have so many options 🙏🤞

Stop worrying. Something will go wrong, not necessarily against Brighton, but sometime, guaranteed. When it does, it's how Forest deal with it that matters. Case in point: We beat Liverpool last week and it's fair to say that they didn't see it coming and see it as a cock up. They go a goal down in Milan and end up winning 3-1. That's what top sides do when something goes wrong. Forest can and must do that too. It can't be all plain sailing.
I would keep sels and the back 4 and only change Hudson odoi over Dominguez, do not wanna fix what is not broken

I would put Murillo in midfield with Ward-Prowse and Yates. Nobody going to overun them. Put Morato in the back four. MGW, Woods and Jota up front then bring on our pacey wingers as we did against 'pool. Brighton a really good team this year. Ipswich lowblocked them.

Firstly I hate Sunday games and always love a Saturday afternoon. Secondly we have to pick our wingers and go at them because they are weak at Full back.

He should twist, however not by reverting back to how we started the season. We need to be comfortable playing 3 preferably 4 systems. It keeps opposing managers guessing. Slot was under prepared for us, in his pre match he said as much.
Miguel, Moreno, Murillo, Milenkovic, Aina. Is a twist with consistency, changing too much here would be a gamble. JWP with Anderson (Dominguez sub for more energy if needed in last 30), Sosa for his energy (CHO sub or happy the other way around), MGW. Wood or Awoniyi alongside Jota. I’d like to see two up front against Brighton as I agree there defence is slow and they won’t be expecting it. 442, that can flex 4231.

I have deffo got that when will get kicked back down feeling!!! But whilst we are unbeaten let’s predict unbeaten, I’m going for 1-1, I wanted to say 3-0, in that we get 2 decent chances and take them first time then get a late goal catching them pushing up to get back into game; but it’s more likely we get 1 goal miss a few chances and the equalise late on….

If we can just score 2 goals in games we will win most times, because we will shut out most teams now, and only concede from 50% of our errors. I'm hopeful, but for this game I expect to score 1, and we're due an error being punished so may concede 1. But on paper we do have a bit more than Brighton, so fingers crossed. And don't worry. Southampton, Everton, Ipswich, and Leicester look like they may be fighting it out at the bottom. Wolves are running into top teams now so may still be on 1 pt after 8 games, and we look like a team who wont concede many. If we get past Brighton unbeaten I'm confident that we will have our 9 game unbeaten start and be on 19-21 pts by then (Game 9), and more if we end up WWWWW, with just 29 games to go!!! We just don't want any more injuries in those key center spots. Looking forward to a worry free season, so have fun and enjoy the ride, but mostly be well, and have a fun weekend.

Still banging on about Forest being a big team I see. No one missed Forest for the 23 years they were back where they historically belong; the lower leagues. You and Leeds fans are cast from the same mould, living off of ancient history from a short golden time period...3-0 Brighton (a proper club that have risen from the ashes of being asset stripped and made homeless for 14 years and are locally owned, not by a Greek Abramovich) Anyway, back to the team. Baleba is a future world star and will run the midfield, Weiffer should return, expect Kadiouglu to start and Adingra to replace Minteh on the RW. Ipswich fans said the same about Dunk and managed 2 shots all game....Van Hecke is quick though.
