" The idea of luxury is to have volume " - Outrageous, this couple lives in one of the most luxury Boulevard in Paris ( Place des Voges ) and they pray the simplicity. Pure Socialism Champagne!
Mitch Yes, they certainly like simplicity in design if not in quality and worth. They say they don’t like objects but they have several decorative pieces (which I’m sure have more sentimental value than ordinary pieces, so I get it). They say they prefer a simple table and chair and a couch, but which I’m sure cost a fortune. They don’t like luxury, and say volume is a luxury yet they have so much of it. They also say they don’t need to live ina n iconic building or home yet they live in a very luxurious (and therefore fairly iconic) boulevard. I think they donned modesty as purely an aesthetic and not a lifestyle.
I am drawn to these Nowness videos by the rarefied beauty and the originality of their subjects. But...I'm exasperated by their often poor image resolution, their MTV style of jumping from vignette to vignette to vignette, and their refusal to simply give a comprehensive survey of any of these wonderful spaces. We are always promised something delicious, but never satisfied.
Wow, imagine living at the Place des Vosges, perfect! I love the apartment, no fuss, very clean and simple, a great example how it can be comfortable and unpretentious, yet very elegant and statement-making at the same time.
I totally agree with him. This couple is cute. He can most probably search enlightenment if he ever join a monk's solitary retreat for few years. From what and how he spoke, he sounds quite wise, especially on how he define luxury! This guy is soulful! 💕
Hahahaha so pretentious. I could live with just a bed and a table, luxury is volume but I don't like luxury, your house shouldn't be iconic... says the guy who lives in a pretty large place one of the most luxurious addresses in the country surrounded by iconic (and super expensive) midcentury furniture. Please.

Dude get a life. It's not your money. Mind your business

He sounds EXACTLY like Axel Vervoordt
“A little bit pop,” says the Annie Lennox lookalike.

Volume +Pop Apartment in centre of Paris = off shore accounts
What a lovely couple!❤
Trying hard to be mature with that surname
Who else read the name as I did,
"The Fuksases"...
Only you. Ignoramus.
Incorporating exclusive designed, highly expensive items to celebrate being austere. . . . .

Gauche au caviar….🙄
ma vaffa...
Anyone who puts contemporary furniture in an old tradition Parisian home is someone who should be jailed.
And the other way around, are we slaves of architecture?
But hey, you couldn't afford to live there anyway...
@@willowwale2000 You have no idea what I can afford!! Maybe YOU can't. Yet that has nothing to do with mixing up wrong furniture.
