- In this video, My new GPR exhaust arrives faulty, i repair it, fit the exhaust an give you some test clips. This is just a install video. Soon i will do a propper fly by etc, much like the FTR 1200 exhaust video

Thanks for this video. I've owned plenty of bikes in the past and will own plenty more bikes in the future and can honestly say I will never EVER give my money to GPR exhausts after seeing how shocking their quality control is. That's unbelievably unacceptable. I'm so glad and thankful (and lucky) I went with SC-Project on my current bike.
Put in the good word for me id be more then happy to rock an SC project after i seen one on the FTR1200.
And would have taken a bit of force, when it just slips inside normaly.

Hello mate. Can you tell me where you bought this exhaust? I looked all over ebay and GPR website and all i could find are GPR Ghost for Suzuki some version. I also contanted GPR and they sent me to their website, not much of a use. Looking to change cans on my Dorso. Cheers!
i found a dealer in Italy that had it, They sent it to me in wrong packaging. it took 3 months! for it to be found. ALl because he lied on the customs import forms. They dont make this pipe for the Dorsoduro anymore. and as you can see, he sent me a defective one KNOWING i was from another country. so this bike shop lied to me. but i got my money back and i repaired the pipe myself. i miss this bike.
I've buy an other original one for 100$ and cut everything inside, just keeped the separation in the middle, put two perforated tubes, glass wool and iron wool.
Sound just right, not too much, for like 200 bucks.
I've find this one you just put on but the sell price is 650$ ... Not cheap for a GPR.
Yeah I but that’s 650 aud that’s like 200usd.

Hi, I'm trying to disassemble the exhaust to put the gpr ghost, but it doesn't come away, are there any central screws under the saddle compartment?
Not that I remember. The hardest part was sliding it back and I had to use a rubber mallet to bang it backwards
hello, could you tell me which is the gold paint of the frame? It's look great !!
hello, the bike was disassembled when new and polished then painted with a gold powder coat and a clear coat finish. aka gold chrome finish

Hello mate, I've got a question. A buddy of mines just bought one, is the frame number on yours stamped straight into the headstock or is it on a black peice metal? I think the one he's bought is hooky.
I think it's got a metal plaque. I'll check in a few hours when I'm home.
@@AridersLifeYT Ah you legend. His is on a black plate on the side of the headstock. Usually it's stamped straight into the metal. Also, Where's the engine number located? I can't find the bloody thing.
And another thing, is the lower fairing an optional extra? I've seen a couple of dorsoduros without them, but some with.

mines in a black plate. thoe lower cowl fairing was a option for aprilia accessories.

How did they manage to assemble it that bad ? 😱 Good job on the repair Pete ! I didn't think you would be able to repair it... But I didn't want you to have to wait 3 months to receive an other one neither 😅 Did GPR had anything to say about that ?

Hello, the GPR ghost is nice but with the issues i had i wont buy another GPR again. i would recommend SC Project.
Sure I can imagine the issus, but with this exhaust you can keep the nice orignal rear look and it's that I want.
I have tried to contact gpr to get more information but with no success.
I have a aprilia dorsoduro 900.

Gotta say after the disappointment of seeing it first it certainly sounds awesome. M8 how do they let something like that be sent out (i thought it was 2nd hand for a sec). Great review on a shady company is what i think.

@@AridersLifeYT Ah me mate has one, he loves it but really finds it hard not to speed due to the engine size it just wants to go. My car is 2.3L haha.....

I would have returned that not sure what you paid for it but that’s fucked someone knew it was fucked when they put it together
I agree, however after a 3 month wait in the mail. Then it arrives, i have evidence of said defects, i dont want to wait another 3 months id rather them just send me another unit or maybe ill just bite the bullet and go SC project
@@AridersLifeYT yer that is true maybe show them and they might send a replacement or some cash back either way it does sound really good
And most likely ship it to another when getting it back.
