    Short story long, I build my first PC today and I had troubles w the display and speakers. I have no idea what the actual fuck happened but deadass as soon as I did like the first step of ur video, everything literally magically started working. I cant thank you enough, bless your soul!!!

    Love this! If you haven’t done it already, I’d love to see a comprehensive BIOS tour looking at all the settings and explaining what they do. You probably have lots of videos for individual settings, but it would be neat to have everything explained in one video. Just a thought :)

    I'm building my pc and I know for sure that I have a tpm module on my MB but it doesn't say anything about connecting it with cables nor what cable should I be using if I need one at all...

    • @MaxsTech
      @MaxsTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No cable needed. Its a chip plugged directly into the motherboard.

      @@MaxsTech hah thnx for the quick response, I was wondering if it needs one because it showed header on mb and now my massive be quiet cooler covered it up, either way 5600x should have built in right?

    Thanks for the great video. I have an older diy board but it has a tpm header and tpm.msc tells me TPM is present although I don't have a chip installed. 11 seems to be totally happy with the arrangement. It say mfr INTC, V303.12.0.0 spec ver 2.0, What am I missing.

    Hello Max. Thanks for the TPM info. I am not able to set up a PIN for my laptop as it says, 'not available right now.' I see when I check the Device Security area that I do NOT have TPM. Any other way to set up a PIN? (I had a PIN before, but when I upgraded to Windows 11, I lost the ability somehow.) Thank you!

    Random question: what do you think of fanless power suppliers? Are they reliable? Any good brand that you would recommend?

    • @MaxsTech
      @MaxsTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I've never used one, typically PSUs have large fans so when they are on its quiet silent either way. Fanless do tend to be much more expensive though since in order to operate with only heat sinks that passively cool they need to be VERY efficient. In my opinion it's not worth it.

      @@MaxsTech Can i also ask a random tech question? If i already have an installed operating system on an SSD and i put a PC together from scratch does it matter if i update the BIOS before plugging the SSD with preinstalled WIN 10 into the motherboard or is it the same if i update the BIOS after the SSD with preinstalled WIN 10 is already plugged to the motherboard?
      Can you explain the relationship between BIOS and Windows? They can independently be updated on their own without one affecting the other?
      I am not an expert of these things that is why i ask.

      Just quick check that you're bios settings saved? Otherwise....not sure

    Is there a tpm 2.0 chip in the form of a usb stick that can be plugged in easily?

    • @01iverQueen
      @01iverQueen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why would you want to occupy a usb with such thing. If you don't have one, just buy it and if your motherboard has a slot/pins for it you can connect it there and that's it
