Great discussion, one of the better 928- related videos I've found on TH-cam. I agree about the video issues, but I don't mind as much as others. Wow, what a wasted opportunity. Does the guy recording this HONESTLY not realize that we can hear and understand what the person being interviewed is saying without the camera being shoved in his face?! Why not record the CARS on video and let the audio literally speak for itself?! I would have loved to see more of the wonderful cars that were gathered there. I have personally owned six 928s and have been to countless club events, but have never seen an Amazon Green car!!! :( I am fighting very hard to control the urge to call this guy an idiot!! Oops...
went through 928, s2, s4. lovely cars buy had assorted issues on these, dont think air con worked on any of the ones i had, ... these dont like being parked up and need to be driven regularly... still have a soft spot for them and if i had endless pockets would love to get one again but sadly prices are always rising and parts seem to have gone same way, content with AMG now which is proving much more reliable and parts easy to obtain/cheaper...
My favorite body style. I like the way they sound. I could of got one of these years ago for about 7 grand. I should of sold my mustang gt but I kind of wanted to keep it.
I can buy a 1980, 928 automatic. it is 99.5% complete. needs a handful of switches, sensors and such the paint is shot, Dashboard is shot, both front seats and both door cards are 50/50. guy wants $800.00 (U.S. dollars). good title. I'm buying it as soon as humanly possible
Horrible camera work, like a study of facial muscles in art class! A philosopher once said if you just focus at the pointed finger you miss all the glory of what the finger is pointing at, or words to that effect. Pretty much the case here, the camera guy could have at least stepped right back to get a good view of the cars. He tried too hard and spoke too bloody much, could have let the cars and the experts share the limelight more with a superior framed shot and setup.

Like the shape, sound and feel of the 928. The only reason I haven't got one yet is........my 2010 civic si can and does blow the doors of all 928 except the gts. I'm not saying all 928 are slow...just that it's hard to sink 15k into something that's not very quick!

Agreed, staring at the side of that guys face for 14 min was mind numbing.
So proud these men are allowed to be married now. I know they have been struggling for years!

I prefer the 1987 and newer, 316hp to 345 HP (GTS). The body style is so much cleaner and rounded looking, and fewer issues and electrical gremlins.

Hmmm, I had a soft spot for these cars at one time...Too many headaches to own, they aren't easy to work on without specialist's tools.
people that scrapped them have place in hell waiting for them already.

+Pulsonar Well, we tried our best. It was filmed on a little flip cam, the mic is poor as is the zoom out.
Should point out that the White 928 was infact a GT.
