This epidode is the record holder for most magic in an episode...I believe it's 54 times we hear a magic sound. Of course this is my favorite episode too !!!
The title photo shows off an expression Elizabeth had when she showed Samantha having the confidence of her smarts and powers behind her. Almost a smirk.
Elizabeth Montgomery couldn’t stand the actor who played the original Darren. He was in love with her and stared at her constantly. It made her very uncomfortable. She complained about him and was relieved when he left the show for health reasons.
@@oldyellerschannel4676 And trying to be "normal" has caused Sam problems before. Remember the warning Dr. Bombay told her in NO ZIP IN MY ZAP., "Don't tell me because you're married to one, you're trying to live like one." Sam's goal was to live a "normal" life, but the message here, and that of BEWITCHED, because someone is different, they may have to hide that difference. That can have consequences, like Sam's not using her powers on a regular and discrete basis. The cast discussed this issue in relation to what various groups at the time were going through, particularly the gay community, who love and relate to Samantha and BEWITCHED. Yet they teach Tabitha and her brother that witchcraft is bad. Not wanting to do everything with magic is a worthy ideal, but refusing to use it altogether is stupid
When Erin Brockevich was asked what she thought of Julia Roberts portrayal of her in the 2000 movie of the same name, one of her comments was: "My skirts were shorter".
I miss Elizabeth Montgomery. Died way too young. There was a Bewitched scene of her getting out of bed in a little nightie that's burned into my brain.
Dr. Bombay has to realize that he's stronger than we mortals. He gave Darrin a pop here and a pop on the back in the last episode of season three's TYERE'S GOLD IN THEM THAR PILLS. 🙂
Imagine if Darrin had worked for Sterling Cooper and Don Draper had tried to make the moves on Sam..."Sam, why is there a large frog in my bosses' office?"
Everyone not in Christ just need to humble themselves in order to receive then feel the power of the Oxytocin Father, Serotonin Son, and the Holy Dopamine Ghost via Placebo Faith.
I think it may be some unexpected quirks with Samantha’s magic. The necklace may have inadvertently disappeared and she previously had no idea how to bring it back, which may lead the jeweler to linking her with a theft of a necklace.
Those file cabinets with the large, combination dials were also used as props in "I Dream of Jeannie" - there's even an episode where Jeannie gets trapped in the file cabinet!
Before "Bewitched" she co-starred in an episode of "Rawhide" as a feisty Tomboy with 6? brothers who she ramrodded like a Trail Boss. Very Entertaining episode.
@Jeannette Martin shhhhh, are you stupid or just rude. I only meant that I would like to have one like it. And, not that is any of your business but I have no children and have worked since I was 13.

Not my favorite, but I was good.
The tuba pop in sound always suited Dr. Bombay
54 is indeed magic‼️💥
You counted how many times witch craft was used ??????????
I used to love watching Bewitched as a kid. It was really funny when Tabitha started doing magic too, but had to move her nose by using her hand :-)
These actors were Phenomenal!!🥰
Yes. It helped that, by then, Elizabeth Montgomery owned the show and could dictate that the work would be first rate. Her comedic timing was perfect.
A natural beauty, Elizabeth Montgomery was/is one of the few actresses that didn’t need to wear a wig .
...even when she was playing Serena?!
Elizabeth didn't need much makeup, either. A natural beauty.
She is so talented 👏🏻
Absolutely
What a deranged comment.

I prefer the orignal Darren- Dick York.. He was a lot funnier.
