Kumamoto is the site of the grave of Miyamoto Musashi, within a park in the city. His cave hermitage, Reigendo, is also close to Kumamoto. Directions to both can be found on the Web.

Eisei Bunko . Museum of the Hosokawa family who were the Daimyo of Higo. The Kumamoto branch is at the castle. Castle is a reconstruction.

Band-Maid are crap. LOVEBITES are far much better and I travelled all the way from London to Tokyo to see their concert on 12th March and just came back home today. Anyway , the Japanese are lovely people.
