For anyone who doesn’t know, this track is officially on Hassan Chop’s album (featuring beats from both DOOM and Madlib), this one is called “Top of the World”, to any hardcore fans of these legends the album (The Sharpening) is definitely worth a listen
As of recently, the album has been removed from spotify and only a couple songs from it remain on TH-cam so I guess it could be considered lost media :(
Now knowing what he sampled really makes me appreciate this loop so much more, like it’s still relatively simple but the way he layers the sample on top of itself is just so fkn great and catchy
