The clarity is unreal!! Really want to see you perform on an acoustic. If you can duplicate this sound on acoustic you need to seriously consider a career change.
Tied for my favorite animenz arrangement - it represents every fun and impressive aspect of his style. Looks like you went for the original sheets, and nailed them!
Agreed, this is in my top 3 fav too. I think it maintains a perfect balance between difficult technique & extremely fun to play. Made couple tweaks but original sheets ftw!
Sounds as good as Animenz' cover, you really did amazing. I'm just wondering: I'm also a self taught pianist, but reaching this skill level as a self taught player seems almost unreal to me. If it's alright, could you share just a little bit on how you use your practicing time? For example, do you use theory books, and is is required to know a lot of music theory to learn an arrangement like this? Do you have any practice habits, like maybe practicing scales etc? I'm genuinely curious.
Appreciate that~ my practice may seem unconventional. I like to experiment different things be it with my technique, fingerings etc I did scales and arpeggio exercises when I was starting out and now I'm familiar w most patterns I come across, so I do them less. I'm not a theory master, but knowing the fundamentals helped me a lot with arrangements. Also record yourself sometimes - listening & judging your own playing helps you know what to correct in your playing
Great performance and choice as the next song. It has soft parts and slow parts which help to demonstrate you can play different pieces well and not just fast ones. 1:58 looks like it may be the most difficult part. Is it? I can’t wait to give it a try.
Surprisingly yes, that is the hardest part imo. The fast runs after the first chorus & during the finale can also be tough at this high tempo but it’s manageable over time compared to those crazy jumps in both hands at 1:58
Ayy glad to hear that! I practiced COLORS for the longest time, like 1 year. Revisited every couple months after trying other stuff & improving my technique. Another thing I can say is to practice it slowly first making sure both hands are well coordinated

Gotta stay loyal to Microsoft, but the goal is to transition to a grand piano in the future once I stack up that bread though 😎

Should I watch Love Live? Its been in my watchlist forever
Woah. Wait. This is an incredible piece. Well done
I have the same question, I just love this piece so much but never watched the show.

Yess he also plays the soft parts with such good control, 3:25 - 4:07 was so satisfying
Surprisingly yes, that is the hardest part imo.

My favorite part: 0:00 - 5:34
I see what you did there
Yo I’m planning to do this one soon. I’m trying to get done with COLORS rn lol. Do you have any tips for that? Also btw I really love your playing!
Ayy glad to hear that!

@@pianokage yea I agree lol. I’m almost up to tempo as of rn but the middle part (with the scales on both hands) I always tend to mess up.
what VST do you use? I really want to get my piano as clear as yours
learn reluctant heros animenz
oh man that's a good one
Damn, you beat me to it, I planned to release mine on 11/1. I’m doing the MAX speed version (4:13)
What about your initial release two months ago? doesn't count? haba
@@boredPianoAdvI was so sure this was going to be Crying for Rain. I guessed wrong again.
Bro do you do online classes?
not currently gang, possibly in the future though
What piano are u using sir?
Yamaha P515 :)
