@@haleematahir8754 My experience with The Ordinary retinol has been great! I started with 0.2% and it worked really well for me. I actually plan on making a video explaining my entire experience cause initially after using it for a couple of weeks I was gonna toss it but thank god I figured how/when to use it and stuck through it cause now it's definitely a favourite! Hope this helps xoxo

3.vitamin c serum
4.moisturizer
5.spf 50+ (must use)
Pm routine.
1.cleanser
2.toner (optional)
3.any serum (niaciamide/ alpha arbutin/salycilic acid 2%)
4.mosturizer.
Weekly use once or twice face mask.
-weekly twice use retinol only at night time.
-weekly once or twice only use actives like aha bha on your skin.
Note this may or may not work for all.
Salycilic acid serum 2% is very beneficial for acne prone skin. So as the retinol based serum.

Soooo i purchased some of these products and i did a test patch twice on my arm and neck, it was fine. But as soon as i put on cheek i felt tingly and itchy. I washed the product off immediately. So please guys it worked for fatimah but it may not work for you. I took advice from pharmacy and she said because the niacinamide or lactic has been too strong for your skin so you experienced this. Henceforth don't use it. If your skin is sensitive you must be extra cautious because your skin is not used to these formulas even if you should never start these formulas in 2% or 10% because it's harsh. Secondly if it's worked for you good but the owner of this product has died and these will not be sold anymore whatever is left till next few months its only that whats left in stores or stock and id suggest not to use because you will again need to change your skincare regime when you can't purchase these products again. Hope this helped.
Lolz ordinary is still in stock and second thing is yeah it cause tingly and itching but make ur skin adopt to this slowly .... First apply 2 mins then gradually increase the time and moisturize
The Ordinary is an awesome skincare brand. They got super hyped up very recently (thanks to TikToks). But I am a very loyal user of The Ordinary products ever since their debut. The key is to be consistent with your routine once you find the products that suit you. You CANNOT expect to see results in a week or two. Stick with your routine and you will be rewarded with beautiful skin.Frankly I didn't use anything on my face besides an occasional moisturizer when I was younger. I was just busy with life and kids and family and unfortunately skincare was wayyyyy down on my priority list. I really started taking care of my skin in my early thirties ( I wanted to teach good skincare habits to my then tween daughter. And the best way is to teach is by example). 10 years later, I am blessed with the best skin in my lifetime, Alhamdo Lillah. I do want to emphasize though that every skin type has different needs.I.E, Nicinimide, Glycolic Acid, Vitamin C serum and Retinol are the products that work for me best. But younger and different skin type may have totally different needs and remedies. So please do your research before buying products. Fatima here did an excellent job in guiding and informing about this brand. Great video!!! I will share with my friends for sure.

@@sjgamer7196 Hey there! So you don't need to use them together. Either corporate them in your skin care routine on alternate days or you can use niacinamide serum at daytime and vitamin c serum at night after you wash up before bed. Just don't layer both at once. They are not harmful but somewhat cancel out each others properties when applied together and may cause sensitivity. Hope that helps! Good luck.

Tip for sensitive skin: skin around my mouth is a bit sensitive so I've discovered. Even though I feel no stinging or irritation, niacinamide causes a bit redness and pigmentation around my mouth. So I started using it very few days cause it DOES brighten up my face. But the bumpy bit dark texture around mouth becomes prominent. So I suggest don't use it around the mouth and chin if u have sensitive skin. Otherwise it's perfect to achieve that glass skin look. Keeping Hyaluronic acid in the regime too!

The ordinary is changing salicylic acid formula b/c many people reviewed that after many uses it caused irritation. So company stopped producing it.

The first product she talked about was Red peeling solution named as AHA BHA
Please dont buy it. I have used it. Its really strong. It itches alot. It didnt reacted on my skin but it reacted on my sisters skin that she had to remove it instantly. We dont have acne either, even so she got a reaction. I used it many times but it didnt worked on me so i left using it.
You have to BE VERY CAREFUL with the red peeling solution. It’s not meant for someone with sensitive to very sensitive skin. Also,..if left on fir more than ten minutes it can literally burn the skin and leave a dark patch. And as you know some people with South Asian skin is tanned and if tanned skin burns it will leave a dark patch. Even if you are have fair skin please very be careful with this product.

Very good
Skin takes time to get used to it so follow instructions.
Regular use mein 3-4 times a week is more than enough.
Don't over exfoliate in winter as it might give u paper like dry skin and redness
Great for oily skin in controlling oil and hydrating and clearing out pores.
Dry skinned people need to hold back a bit if they have cracked damaged skin, glycolic must not be used after wax threading or any kind of damaged skin.
If you're using glycolic regularly, you don't need any other exfoliant like peeling solution.
If you're super oily even in winter and glycolic doesn't work on ur white/blackheads , go for salicylic acid as it penetrates deeper and is more effective on pores.

Hi, I am 26 and completely new to ordinary products or any proper skincare and I wanted to ask which steps should I follow if I have the following products: Niacinamide, Caffeine solution, Lactic acid, Hyaluronic acid? And should I be using this combination everyday at night?
