The reason you aren’t feeling the value of the spiky ball is because you are using it the same way you would the rage. If you activate it before entering the compartment with an eq spell, you can snipe xbows and inferno towers instantly
i’ve been using spiky ball ever since i maxed it. rage vial seems to have a hidden ability that spawns a tornado trap, ice golems and/or poison. spiky ball has consistent damage and is really nice for taking out spell towers, especially on double invis bases. of course rage is much cheaper but i’d say to use spiky ball if you already have it maxed out

Spiky ball is better when the king is used for funnelling. Usually food in air attacks.
But king is so strong that a few set up and he'll clear a whole compartment so using him to funnel is a waste imo. And inside the base, rage vial is always better.
Ye rage vial plus gauntlet for the win. Gauntlet is too op to be obsolete and also I got it to level15 so ye😅
If he is mixed with main army as many casual spammers do, spiky ball with rage vial is honestly the best in that scenario because damage reduction ends up being pointless when surrounded by other tanky troops. Now I’m saying it’s the best way to use the king, but I’m saying just for all of the people that like being brainless and just throwing him in the the main army, that’s the best option

The spikey ball its a like lottery where its go. The rage vial its moure safe and you have moure controll. What i feel after i tested it out. What do you think about super minion in the CC Itzu?
Switch your king and queen, King with the ball outside and queen inside the base.You got to target not important buildings with the spike ball just for more funneling! Then the spike ball is better. King inside the base rage vile. Queen with the normal arrow and helers inside the base for more extra funneling when you shoot the arrow to more inside buidings in the second row and spawn the helers on your witches to go even more straight forword in the base.
hey itzu , i have been using the same strategy since 1 week , i have always been hitting above 300 , but instead of the third rage spell , i am using an extra invi and skele spell since we have already have the rage vial on warden , what do you think about this?
I use Spiky Ball for grinding loot and funnelling. It takes away 9 buildings on almost 100% guarantee. If I use it for getting 3-stars, I use it later in the battle. When walls are broken and most surrounded defence buildings are gone, I pull the King in with Angry Jelly. It walks straight to the HQ and then use the spiky ball to get rid of everything there. The rage vial has no guarantee of destroying 9 buildings, sometimes only 2 or 3. Spiky Ball wins it for me.
If by himself: giant gauntlet rage vial
If with main army: spiky ball rage vial (because when he is with army he doesn’t need damage reduction)
If outside base by himself: spiky ball vampstache
I like the guaranteed up front damage from the spiky ball. Also, the health boost instead of the health recovery on ability is better. The rage vial health recovery sometimes is wasted if you use ability while his health bar is above half. It also causes me to think I need to wait to use his ability so I'm getting full value from the health recovery. I don't need to worry about that nearly as much with spiky ball
Another thing to take into account is that you can’t really control where the spikey ball goes. It may hit the spell tower or go in a completely different direction hitting storages which won’t do anything.
I agree. Been experimenting with those combos on my th15. For up hits I like spikey ball better.
Yea I think for beginners and avg players, spikey ball is great. Gives them guaranteed damage output. But for above avg players, rage vial is hands down the better option.
I’ve been using spiky ball for the last 2 month. I recently changed it for rage vial… and it feel really good. Better than spiky ball for sure.

Thanks Itzu for making spiky ball video I asked you a couple days ago and today I saw it spiky ball is really more value than rage my spiky ball lev 17 but I m seeing its value and you can trigger that invisible tower and r c push one side the other side is e z with fireball warden some other people might not has max level I also dont have only 17 but I m seeing its value believe me its insane
Itzu, I like the spikey ball and gauntlet combo and then you use a rage on the king in the middle and it’s like have all 3 for tons of damage. Especially when th eyes tons of defenses inside. King obliterates it himself.
I used rage vial + gauntlet for months, great combo, but I switched to spiky ball ever since I maxed it. The fact that it can one shot spell towers is great, before your main army has to deal with it. Also great for cleanup, has saved me from time fails multiple times.
Problem is maxing it, for an epic its not really the highest priority to upgrade

Theoretically, I don't think that tanks like (RR & golems) would work well with Valkyries, because of two reasons :-
1. Double difference in moving speed.
2. Difference of favourite targets.
Due to this, i think at some point of time, the valks will get ahead of tanks & get all the damage instead of tanks.
@@harshvardhanyt3793it depend on skill, not the one is better than the another one. roots can open the walls for valks and heroes. but mass valks need jump spells. if root is failed to tank for the valks, at least when all the valks die you still had roots and heroes. but ya skill and preference

I say you might as well use double epic if you got them both upgraded. It's unpredictable and fun. Don't forget to run the Phoenix on the King tho
Hey itzu, what if instead of guantlet, we use eq boots and spiky ball. Boots deals 50 % damage and spiky ball deals 50%. Did you try that?
I use the quake boots and spikey ball combo with this strat since find the King's ability to open more walls for the troops to traverse the base quite useful.

Hey Itzu, can you please share some legend bases in every weeks or months?
This attack is very strong, but in my personal experience, I uncovered a couple issues.
The first one is that on bases with really strong cores, since witches are so slow, sometimes they will get wrecked if they path weird or get stuck on something, especially if there are ice golems and a monolith packed in that core. The fireball on the edge doesn't really help in this situation. The second issue is the druids. Sometimes when I add new ones in, they will go after the queen/root riders/champion and even the king if he splits off. This is very problematic for the witches. Mismanaging the timing of the druids also can be a problem, such as how Itzu forgot about them in the last attack. Sometimes the witches die from that mistake. Likewise, if you use them too fast, they will turn into bears before all of the defenses are down. For the most part, it's very strong, but I tend to be getting about 1-2 fails a day as a result (at 5700 trophies)
Due to this, I've been experimenting and found a solution that I like pretty well. If you replace 4 of the druids with 4 healers, it allows you to have the flexibility to do a bit of a deeper warden walk if the value is there, and if not, you can still do the fast warden walk. If you do the deeper one, just use a rage and you should be fine on time, especially if you get the CC. It also is nice to have healers that last longer than 30 seconds for the witches. I still add druids for the core, but on initial entry and the back end of the attack, the healers are enough to keep everything alive. I really like the fact that there is always at least some consistent healing power so the witches never get left for dead. Plus the flexibility for that deeper fireball if needed. If anyone else was having similar problems, I suggest giving it a try.
My fireball is 21 and rage gem is 5. Can I still do warden walk/fireball or do I need more levels for both?
Rule of thumb is atleast lvl 9 on any hero equipment before its useable over other equipment if they are 15 or higher. 21 for fireball is good
The spiky ball is 2500*8 Targets by lvl 19…
So 20k instant damage without need to move between targets.
Since the King is still attacking during the 10s the rage vial would be going on, it is another 400dps * 10s… so 4k dps.
Spiky ball is 24k damage over the 10s…. Approximately.
Rage vial is 150% of 400dps, or 600 bonus dps over 10s… so 10k dps or so over 10 seconds.
The Spiky ball is also +100 dps above RV, and over 120s, that is an extra 12k damage.
It also receives 1k extra hit point regeneration.
Add GG…
We will assume hitting 3 targets each swing…
Spiky ball:
8*2500 = 20k
400dps * 3 * 10s = 12k
Spiky Ball is therefore 32k during the 10s period a rage would be going.
Rage Vial:
400dps * 250% * 3 * 10s = 30k
So RV is 30k during the 10s rage period.
The GG has the same 4 second effect for both after the 10s window, but…
Spiky ball is +1k health and + 100dps over RV…
And over 120s fight is 12k additional damage
Unless something is missing, Spiky / GG should give you 14k additional damage over RV / GG, plus and extra 1k health.
I run the ball on one account and not the other but use this same attack.
To me, when the ball hits, its amazing. If it's just the rage vial, meh. Basically i could go either way but when i have the ball im happy for it more than i would be just having rage
You also use it like the rage vial which is near the heaviest HP buildings so its less value. That last attack showed how you can core out an entire compartment when used right
I also swapped the yak on my king because i felt like the witches get stuck all the time
Itzu I want to see some fails if you have any. Show us the fails and show us how to correct them. Yes it’s fun watching you get perfect attacks but I learn more from your fails to be honest.
Try vampstach with the gauntlent, hear me out
The vamptach's healing gives way more value than usual campared to tha gauntlent bcas the damge is deacreased but the healing is the same so you get the idea?
He will survive much much longer then usual and the vampstach it's self give the highest dps boost bcas of the hit speed increase

I haven't maxed out the eq boots to use with this switch strats. I mean that could also be something worth testing but that could just be me and my svalk smash

I started at 5812 today and the base I copied is consistently decent where it’s always below 300 trophies lost on defense and it’s been a couple of days now. Today I am at -252 with 7 defenses taken so again it won’t be above 300

ITZU can you do same comparison with RC hog + puppet vs Spear + Shield. I have so many clanmates saying spear is better, but i refuse to believe it
Don't listen to them tbh... Use hog and haste 😘
If you're th13 I'd recommend Spear + Shield for better value. Can pick high value defenses off like infernos, monoliths, and eagle

Spiky ball and earthquake boots have worked really well for me especially in a hero dive type attack, I can see why guantlet might be preferred soemtimes to the earthquake boots but 2 epics is a bit expensive at the moment.

Hi Itzu, i think the way you are using the spiky ball is a bit wrong, you targeted high hp buildings which keep you in the same area after using the ability, instead you need to clear a path using it to take out all lower hp buildings 1 shot
Itzu, is the same as the 9 healer charge and this attack, you use the warden + fireball in a different way. Same with the king with spikyball, if you use it at the same way you use giant guantlet + rage gem, you will not get the same value. When i use spikyball (that is always😂) i always bring one quake, then you can get great value if you time it right☺️ spikyball + 1 quake takes down inferno’s and make x-bows 1 shot💪🏼 i use that with my dragons, very strong😊 - sorry for the long text😅

Spiky ball is better than rage vial, it's a guaranteed damage and the rage can be stopped easily by ice golems and poison, rendering the gauntlet useless.
As said in the video. When you dont have to use the king ability during the ice golem entcounter the rage vial with gauntled is better. If you have to use the ability during the ice golem encounter the spiky ball is better. :)

For me I can’t see the fireball ever being used by me. The eternal tomb isn’t worth doing without.
Really just depends on the strategy you use.
Rage vial gets countered too easily by poisons, tornados, TH slows that Id rather just have the guaranteed damage of the Spikey Ball.
I believe Rage vial is best for the gauntlet and the ball for the vampstache
I have fire ball lvl 5 Spyke ball lvl1 maybe I will try this attack next year
Can you make a base building guide
I've been using this army but with the rocket spear on my RC. Then I place her on the flank and pop her ability early to help create a funnel for the superwitches. Had a perfect day yesterday with this. Typically scoring at least 280 or more per day in the 5600-5700 cup range. And it's fast too -- most hits take about 2 minutes to complete.
Hey itzu am facing one problem in my main village no tree or tree trunks or shrubs are spawning !! Why please help me cant get gems by Removing them😢
There is a max amount of things that can spawn. Maybe you reached that limit.
Do you have a lot of holiday event decorations? If you have more than 40 decorations (I think it’s around 40-45), tress won’t spawn anymore, but holiday decorations can still spawn.
