I've had 4 German Shepherds and they are the sweetest, most loyal breed out there! Hesrt❤ 🐾 🐾
A good show of typical GSD personality. They are a bit like mischievous little kids. Have had a number of them over the years. That trait is probably why I really like them. And with their energy levels and Velcro attachment they are always ready for games and adventure.
Close to our house this guy had a pair of German shepherds, the males name was Wolf. One day we were playing on the street, and saw Wolf just bolting through street towards their house. Later we talked to the guy about it. He said he had taken him for a walk, but then he ran into some friends. So, from like a mile away, he told wolf to go home. Pretty cool 👍

I have reservations about German shepherds b/c once our neighbor's dog rushed my little doggy girl and bite her just a bit to give a little bruise on her leg. But her scream was absolutely terrifying. I will never forget it. Turns out that she is so friendly and surprised him and he was trying to play with her. My dislike is clearly unfounded but I often get my baby girl away from them just incase she remembered her traumatic experience. I genuinely think that No dog is a bad dog, just bad parents/owner.
I love the breed, but they are bitey. You have to watch them. I grew up with them, I have owned them, and they like to bite. I was attacked by one I knew since it was a puppy, and mine just decided to bite someone on a whim one day.

My German shepherd Mauna born 6-2-12 died today.
She had cancer and died less than a year later.
I don’t know what to do now.

It's the worst thing when you have a German shepherd.... saying goodbye. I can't wait till I get to the rainbow bridge.
Sorry for your loss. I have owned 8 GSD's. My last male died at age 5 yrs of cancer. I went out and rescued one within the week. A beautiful female GSD. The breeder was going to put her down due to not being show quality. I have rescued several and also had ones from puppies. there are many that need homes. And you will know the right one when you see it. Rescued a male from an inner city shelter who had been beaten, weighed 45 lbs, had the mange and a very rough life. He was sweet, loyal and ever so gentle. Still miss that one.
@@markprovenzano-yt9iw me too. I have owned 8. I go out and rescue one when one dies. Now that I am older, I may rescue senior ones that no one wants. If one is familiar with the breed, you will know if the dog is a good fit.

@@Plons0NardThat's a prong/pinch collar. They are not supposed to be outward. They simulate the mothers mouth on the neck of the dog if they need a correction.
