Hi Tanu, As you said that you handle Global mobility. Will you be able to comment on the Global Mobility HR job market in Canada? I have 4 years of Expat HR experience here in India and have handled multiple countries in my job role including countries in Europe and East Asia. I am open to change my role and move out of Global mobility if needed and definitely considering HR certifications. I have also sent you connect request on Linkedin :)
Hi Jayati, thanks for watching the video. Well, right now the entire HR job market is quite bad in Canada , let alone global mobility ! With the great layoffs, there are too many unemployed people in the market as compared to available job postings. Hence, I can only wish you all the success in your job search and do get your certifications done to have that extra edge over other candidates.
So I have a CHRMP Certification, which I had done through a "London International studies" institute. So, does it still qualify for Canada? Also, your videos are quite helpful, thank you!!

However, its always better to also aim for certain globally recognised certifications like SHRM, CHRP or the ones provided by HRCI to have that competitive edge!

Hi, thanks for the video. But, I have a doubt. If I do a PG diploma program in Human Resources Management from Toronto. Should I do a CHRP certification to work there or will it come under my program?
Hi Snehaz, thats a very good question! Although my basic understanding is that certifcations hold a different value than college courses, you may want to double check with the college you intent to do your HRM diploma course. For example, even if someone has done an MBA in HR, they go ahead with certifications to add value to their career profile.
