I can honestly say I became a fan not for what you're best known for but for the time you were on a talk show here on TH-cam and I listened to you for over 3 hours, and it was the best interview I have ever heard. You talked about the Government and why everything was left all of that equipment in the hands of the enemy. I believe it was something like $80,000,000.00 in all kinds of American Military Equipment. It was all well said. Thank you for that interview. God Bless You.

The tee shirt that said “it’s not a beer belly it’s a gas tank for a s€x machine” I bought my grandpa one of those in the late 90’s in Florida as a joke it was a triple x in size lol can’t help but wonder if it made its way over there some how after going to the goodwill years later?!?!

Nonsense. 21 years with the latest and greatest weaponry available and we still weren't able to beat the Taliban. We lost because it was an unwinnable war. You can't defeat an indigenous people. They will just wait you out because they know you wont stay forever. It happened in Vietnam and now again in Afghanistan.

In fact, at the beginning of the war, we pretty much did defeat the taliban but then all of our resources went from Afghanistan to Iraq.

Rob, I have a Team 2 Patch A real one given to me by an Operator. I am not a SEAL I would like to share it with you, its from AFG 2011-2014. I worked for a bunch of great ODA teams. It seems very cool watching this that we might have been at the same place at the same time in time doing the same cool stuff. Thank you for explaining all what it takes for you to be successful as a SEAL. You make so much sense to me. I have lived a different life than most normal people Just like you. God Damn reflective belt, reminds me when I was medically discharging and was told to show up in PT's to Fort Knox, walked into the PX and a LT tried to hammer me for wearing PT's in the PX, after explaining to him that after 15 years, I would no longer be serving and that I was told to only wear this uniform and was not a FT Knox soldier, then he said, "well you should not be in here with this uniform". I said "have a great day".
IM 71 AND DONT HAVE CHILDREN BUT IF I HAD A SON I WOULD WANT HIM TO BE LIKE ROB ONEILL BECAUSE HE IS A SUPER SUPER WAR HERO I LOVE THE NAVY SEALS THEY ARE SUPER GREAT
Suggest you cut the intro down, it’s far too long. By intro, I mean the parts about the news footage, Obama, Osama, Planes, Bush, all that stuff. Just don't want to see it at beginning of every episode. Get you someone to make you a cool intro like Rogan's got. Or some such.
Watching so many months from this post - I have a question about Bin Ladin’s take down. In the movie Zero Dark Thirty the scene in Bin Ladin’s bedroom there is a gun hanging up above the bed head on the wall. What happened to that big gun do you know?
I understand the frustration with the rules of engagement but wasn’t the issue that when we did bomb civilians we were creating more terrorist. I have heard you say similar things like when you got mud all over that one Afghan house you said no wonder they hate us.
Great episode, the withdrew from Afghanistan is a terrible mistake that is coming back to haunt America in the near future and might be going back to Afghanistan to find fix and finish the terrorist threat once again in the near future from now on this 21st Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the North and South Towers World Trade Centre and the Pentagon on September 11th
