    I've seen people say to use the lip trill to the tongue trill, but I can't seem to learn the tongue trill. Is it possible that a tooth can prevent me to do tongue trill? I have watched tutorials, they say curl up the tongue to inside/behind the teeth or on the teeth, but my one out-of-place tooth seems to prevent that.

      Hi, thank you so much for your comment. It's possible that your tooth could be making it harder for you, but there are also people that can't perform the tongue trill or roll their r's due to their tongue shape. For example, I have a cousin who is latina and can speak Spanish but can't roll her r's. It's totally okay! I would encourage you to not worry about it and focus on what you can do. If you can do the lip trill, that's awesome. If you can't, you can watch my video, Super Effective Tool To Strengthen Your Head Voice and it will really help. th-cam.com/video/-wN5hS9_cDI/w-d-xo.html

      Thanks so much for your comment. :) Both tools are so helpful and a great way to balance your air blow and move back and forth in your vocal register when done correctly. I find that I use the lip till more often. Which one do you find more helpful? The lip trill or the tongue trill?

      I understand! It can be at first, it was for me and some of the students I work with. Try putting a slight pout in your lips and sigh into it and keep playing around with it and you’ll get it!👍😊

    I’ve always been able to tongue trill but still working on lip trilling.
    Love your blouse! Where did you get it?

      Thanks so much for sharing! I wasn't good at the lip trill at first either, but I just kept playing around with it. Make sure your lips are relaxed so you can let the air make them move.
      I can't remember where I got the blouse but thank you for the compliment.

    I cant do either of them so now what

    • @youcansing2vanessae.vocalcoach
      @youcansing2vanessae.vocalcoach  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carol, thanks for your comment. No worries! Try singing a “boo” with your lips forward and your jaw open, as if you have a “surprise face”. This will help you to produce more head voice which helps you transition to higher notes easily, similarly to the lip trill. Please let me know how it goes!😀🎤

    • @youcansing2vanessae.vocalcoach
      @youcansing2vanessae.vocalcoach  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh sorry! I misread your message that you could do either! Oops! If you can’t do either, try a “woo” or “boo” sound with your lips forward using an easy volume as you sing higher. This will help you to transition to your higher register like the lip trill or tongue trill does. Please let me know if you have any questions.
