Purple Hawke didn't go into the darker side of Wheein's social anxiety issues but she's always been the member moomoos worry about the most and monitor for her mood and happiness. She suffered a physical and emotional breakdown in 2019 and didn't appear with MMM at KCON in LA because she had a panic attack at the airport and couldn't make the flight. She wasn't around much during Queendom and missed rehearsals but she picks up choreo so quickly that moomoos reported she learned the dance for one of their performances in 20 minutes. After Hip Wheein went on a break while the other members focused on solo projects. It was no surprise when she was the member who didn't resign with RBW for her solo work and went to a new small company called The L1ve run by fellow idol Ravi of VIXX. Hwasa's influence on food sales is so dramatic that she has received several plaques from food industry associations. You might want to watch MMM-TV on MMM's yt channel. It's a great source for behind the scenes footage that shows the members' personalities. The most classic episode goes back to their rookie days in MMMTV season 1, episode 6, which is called How Mamamoo Plays in the Car. It's got subtitles courtesy of a group of fans called Mamamoo Trans (RBW sucks at providing subtitles for MMM as you know) but unfortunately they left out the ID for a song that Wheein said was her favorite song, Yoon Mirae's Baby Bye Bye, where she shows that she can rap if she wants to. Btw, Yoon Mirae is an African American/Korean singer & rapper from Texas who moved to Seoul in the 90's and is the foremost female hip hop artist in Korea. She has an extensive discography as a solo artist and with the group MFBTY. If you want to check her out besides Baby Bye Bye (audio only video) I'd recommend her songs Black Happiness and Kawi Bawi Bo (rock, paper, scissors) to start with. Yeah, Wheein's Blue/ Purple hair and JiU's Purple / Blue hair...man, they both slay! I ran across some videos that I need to find again if I can remember the channel name. All four members of Mamamoo have had their turns with these videos: Parents confront Idols about their kids' behavior (such as spending ALL their money on groups' or even specific idols' merch, writing love letters to the idols, depressed kids who only find comfort when listening to their favorite Idols. Lots of that stuff. I think it's just one channel that does those and they are always really cool videos. I just have to remember the channel. I really wish I had those links ready right now but I have to go look. I will be back with those. :)

Hwasa is such a sweet heart. Many people tend to think that she is tough and intimidating because on stage she gives her all, she is charismatic and the sexy/bad bitch side in a world like kpop disturbs them... But the minute she appears offstage she becomes the kindest, sweetest human being on the planet. She is really adorable always there to try to make people smile and encourage them. She always tries to have a special moment with the fans when she performs not for fanservice but simply because she loves it and that making people happy and seeing the fans makes her happy. Beyond being an exceptional singer, rapper, dancer, performer, composer, writer,... she is a wonderful human being by her kindness and her rare and sincere honesty I just came back from KpopFlex maybe I'm a little emotional sorry XD

you know i think sometime about what other girls groups can fit more the western market and be global girls groups like BLACKPINK and to me MAMAMOO is the perfect groups that why i think new kpop reactor chose to react to MAMAMOO after BLACKPINK when they start they're journey in kpop . they fit for 3reasons to me 1 they're not to many 4 like blackpink easy to notice each of them 2 they all have very distinct look and voices and nobody other shadow the other 3 they're mature and versatile discographie , they're very charismatic and know how to put the crowd in they're pocket .

They’re always doing “forbidden” things in the kpop industry like swearing, spoiling comebacks, clowning-like really going in on each other 😂, talking shit to their fandom (which the fans actually love), going on camera without makeup, making fun of/low key talking trash about their company, etc. You really get to know their personality and group dynamic. Another prime example: their fandom is called Neverland. But they’ve given them the nickname “Paboland.” Pabo means dumb/idiot/stupid. 😆
