Sadhana Sargam is a Legendary Singer. She is melody queen. She has no replacement in classical singing.
If she is underrated then why the nation has recognized with a national award which no other hindi female contemporaries of her time has received and it is special because being a north Indian singer she received it for a tamil song and never got an award for any north indian song nor her contemporaries got.

@@anjanidevikayala8473 friend this is not a comparison. Swarnalatha is always great. I just put the names of singers actually. Swarnalatha had sung so many superhit songs. In tamil telugu malayalam kannada bengali Hindi sindhi Arabic french assamesse gujarati bhojpuri etc.

@@biomolecules7483 she is my favourite singer of all time and it's not insulting.. I meant that during the time of interview she might had sore throat that may be the reason for her voice... I m not telling that her voice is cracking now it's just because on that day it was like that...As an ardent fan I was sharing that so that no body wants to mistake her voice... She is a great singer and legend... Her voice is divine and always touches the soul since my childhood and now... I said laryngitis that means temporarily she had some larynx Inflammation. This is what I meant .. understand before you pass comments on others...
