Hello Adam, I am still enthusiastic about your video I watched a couple of minutes ago. As I can see, again you possibly used your Micro-Nikkor 70-180mm in retro position as you wrote me once. At least the details of the caterpillar, leaving the egg and opening the eggshell with its mandibles is exceptional in focus. Thanks for sharing. With best regards Rüdiger
Dear Rüdiger! Once again I want to thank you for your nice comment. Let me clarify some about the equipment I recently use of extremely macro. In this case I used Tokina Macro 35 F2.8 DX in reverse position mounted in PB-6 bellows. However, in such cases I mostly used reverse mounted Micro Nikkor 55/3.5. The Micro Nikkor zoom 70-180 is not convenient to use in reverse. It is great lens in normal position. Especially combined with PN-11 Auto Extension Tube. With best regards! Adam

Hello Adam, thank you very much for your information which always is very important for me. Right now I am looking for a real good macro objective which I can use with my Sony NEX-FS700EK camera. May be, you got an idea, which I really would appreciate. With best regards Rüdiger
I'm early! Yay! I'm actually thinking about starting a butterfly farm because I just lost my job, and my parents think I should try something creative. I've heard that Painted Ladies are the first step and relatively inexpensive, do you think that would be a good starter? I've raised butterflies all my life so love your channel btw. :)
Hi Olivier. Thank you for your nice comment. Oh yes Olivier, most of the photos I took in my house during the breeding of this species. Only some shots come directly from nature. It would be difficult to find all the preimaginal stages and shoot them in the wild. I try to document the full development of the species. I use the Sony NEX-VG900 camera equipped with Micro Nikkor lenses. Regards! Adam
It's so fluffy! I wish there were more channels like this.
