Annabelle will be ok! My dog was almost 18 and he’s had some chocolate in his lifetime haha. Not that we gave it to him but if it fell he’d eat it and he was all good!
I am so glad that sweet Annabelle is ok! I know how scary that is-our dog got into kid’s Christmas candy the year we got her-she was only 6 months old and I was terrified-she too is ok but it’s definitely a scary experience!!

I've been a referee on the national and international level and my best advice for Turbo is to always stay calm when talking to a coach, don't be defensive and just explain, "it's the way I saw it coach. You could be right, but I called it the way I saw it." There isn't much they can say after that.

Being a Referee is such a great first job as it teaches you resilience and to think quickly on your feet and to be confident with your calls because unfortunately some adults and players take things too seriously and will question your calls. My son has been a basketball referee since he was 12 years old and for the most part it’s been great. A few ugly parents over the last 6 years, he has just turned 18, but I have always told him, you are the one who is right there to make the call as long as you can explain why you called what you saw then that’s ok. I’ve found over the years most of the ugly parents unfortunately don’t actually know the rules. Another thing I love is that you work and get paid to exercise, there are not too many jobs like that and you are refereeing a sport you love! Despite getting a plumbing apprenticeship this year he still referees two nights a week and on Saturday’s. Our state league for kids under 20’s is about to start on Sunday’s here in Australia 🇦🇺 and he will soon also referee that competition. He bought his own car when he started to learn to drive and is now saving for a 4WD for work. He also Referee Coaches junior less experienced Referees on Saturday’s so there are lots of opportunities for Referees to give back - which I love. It’s also it’s own little community so he has a great bunch of mates from all over the State that he has met through the Refereeing program. Finally, one last awesome perk it’s most Referee accreditation’s, certainly basketball 🏀 is a worldwide accreditation so if he chooses to travel when things open up in the future he could referee basketball anywhere in the world. Congratulations Turin, you will be an awesome referee for sure. 🌟⚽️

One year our lab ate ALL the Easter baskets for us 3 kids. He was such a good dog my parents didn’t think he would touch it...they woke up before us and there was nothing for us to wake up to but an empty basket. My mom ran to the gas station to fill the baskets and we woke up to hot coco, taquitos, and a basket of snacks
Our dog was fine and lived a happy 14 years❤️

I've heard that the milk chocolate in candies isn't usually enough to harm a god. When I was a kid and my sister and I were left home alone for the first time, our golden puppy got a snickers bar and we were so worried. Our parents couldn't hear us calling them and we slept on the couch with the dog until they got home. The vet said it's really only a concern if it's baking chocolate or dark dark chocolate.

That’s a really good idea to save money for a car for when you get your drivers license. I think it’s really cool that Turin gets paid coaching the soccer game. Since he is so experienced with soccer, it would probably be a good idea to do that for a living.

Had two childhood memories, I think I was 10 and I opened up my first savings account with $50. I thought that was a tone of money. Well it was for me at that age. Also a family friend had a friend watch there jack Russell while they were away. So there friend was in the basement with his 3 year old son (this was in the 90s) the son ran upstairs and didn’t come back. The dad went upstairs to see where his son was, he found him on the kitchen floor eating fig newtons cookies. He said one for me, one for you and gave the second one to the dog. Thank goodness he wasn’t a little taller because on the shelf on top of the fig newtons cookies were chocolate chip cookies. My friends dog would have been so sick. Every time I hear about chocolate and dogs I think of that story.

l was staying at my daughters one easter and was woken at 4am by strange noises and the dog sliding up and down the hallway. l opened the bedroom door to a brown tsunami the dog had got into the easter eggs and was exploding out both ends, he was spinning in circles terrified and kept falling over. i called my son in law on the phone to tell him he needed to get up and be careful opening the bedroom door and be sure to turn the lights on . Next l hear a scream and the back door being thrown open all l can say is they were grateful to have a wet and dry vacuum to remove the mess everything from waist high down was covered. l told the kids to get dressed and jump out the window and meet at the car and we went to my house. lt took all day for the floor and walls to be cleaned and sanitized, my son in law was very annoyed that l bailed and left him to clean. My daughter was 39 weeks pregnant so she couldn't help. l warn everyone with dogs to make sure your pet has no access to chocolate the vet said it was lucky he expelled it as quick as he did or he would have died.

Check out Greenlight cards for kids! I have them for all 5 of my kids and love it! I don't have to go pull out money for them anymore cause all I have to do is just transfer money to the kids cards when they need it! My kids love it because they even got a cool picture of themselves on the card as well! If I remember correctly I wanna say it was only $9.99 for each card and that was to get a picture of each child on their card.
